I'm 77 & in the 1950's, 60's & later, have seen numerous films envisioning what the world would look like, in the early 21st Century? With the exception of advances in communication & medical technology, very little of those forecasts have come true! Space travel has been hampered by excessive costs & distances, as was 'super-sonic' aviation! Frankly, I predict 2050 will look far closer to 2023 than we imagine!
I’m 34 but I concur. I don’t think there will be too big a difference in things overall. Sure technology and online things will progress. But I don’t see things changing to drastically. I’ll be 60 in 2050 so I’m eager to see.
Not much will change. It takes 10 years to train people to build things. 10 years to learn how to use them. 30 years for them to become affordable or desirable. So aside from some AI and simplification in communication use not much will change. Maybe more things will improve to our benefit. Better and healthier food and air and water. More peaceful and natural spaces to soothe our minds and spirits. People do not adapt to technology as fast as technology can adapt to us. It took millions of years for us to develop into who we are now. We should allow technology to assist us very little so we can adapt in case we need to live without it.
@@nickb654Did it take 30 years for phones and social media be accepted by society? Nobody 30 years ago would have imagined our world today to look like this. To not go outside as much, to even be able to FaceTime somebody. Those simple things are grand innovations that have become very normal for us. The same will happen in the future
Amazing though I thought of this just recently, and was actually making a list of all the advancement in Tech comparing the 80's to present 2023. This is not far fetched, this is going to come true. I remember my grandmother in the 70's when she said to us that the men in the TV are seeing us and we should behave, so we got interested for a second and then burst out in laughter at her 'Silly thought', she actually did think we could have communicated with the people 'in the screen'..... WELL LOOK WHO IS LAUGHING NOW. Bless her soul.
@@CheeseCream1205f the 80s. minimum wage was only 1.60 an hour😂😂😂😂 now it will be 17 an hour by 2028 and the racism in america in the old days was a lot meaner than it is now. You need to get yourself educated. Theres no such things as robots or flying monkeys evolving from goku punk ass 😂😂 I have a college degree and a high school diploma. 😊😊 And I work retail now. I have a perfect timing record too and I vote for Bernie Sanders. I feel like hes the only one that cares about minimum wage.
As much as I am an avid tech interestee, and I beleive in tech, I really beleive that there is a line that should be drawn, we are physical beings before anything else, and i love walking outside with my dogs and going for a run in the rain, by extending ourselves too deep into virtual reality i fear we may lose alot of our natural experience.
On the other side, tech has a great impact on the environment, especially the energy sector. If you're into tech, that's something you can work on to create a more sustainable future; instead of the virtual world.
What I fear is the whole AI situation. The last thing I want is a life controlled by robots. Just like how the world decided it’s not moral to clone humans, that’s kind of what we would be doing but with robots.
I see it differently. No ai for starters? That won’t work or last at all? Besides us humans are better than robots anyway? We are smarter than that Ai tech are no good anyway that can’t run us anyway? Robots are not the way Humans have to work anyway to keep our info structure going. People in jobs and getting us moving everyday? And transport on driving cars? No good they will fail and then I’d rather drive my own electric car my self thank you And our resources should be asked by us humans and have no electronic doors etc… And the plastic rubbish should be lean up and used as fuel for our cars now and in the future. So everyone think about getting out there and grow your own food, drive your own cars, Help make our future look bright? If we don’t do this now? We are ai tech will come and we won’t have say on what happens by our own government for your our own future for us in australia? We need to decide what we want like I said before chinas rubbish ai will have a big input and want to tell us what can and can’t do? S o let’s make no robots for the future? Fix up our infrastructure let’s make it happen before 2050. We can do it now please? Other
Whoever's reading this, i pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen
My man I thank you for praying for me, I needed that, ESPECIALLY after watching this video, God always 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾 also this type of stuff makes me wanna go back to the 90s tbh
I dont know why i watch stuff like this, it just fills me with dread, whats out there already, never mind whats to come, we need to unite get to know your neighbor, work locally help build communities only together do we stand a chance, never STOP loving my brothers and sisters, unconditional love can change our world. Love and Contentment Bob&MrTao,xx
Let’s not start this again. Back in the 80’s and 90’s everyone thought we’d be living like The Jetsons in 2020. We don’t even have mass fully-functioning self driving cars yet, and we still live on the ground……
Yes exactly. As much as my millennial peers like to believe in their quest for radical change, their neuroticism will subside once real life hits them. Change will happen in slow subtle strides...sorry, no transformers and Jetson lifestyle in that short time. In 100 years for sure, not 30.
yes, but instead we now have all information in our pockets. 2050 will have vastly advanced tech if we're still around, just not in the areas we predict.
@@jamesdettmann94 I’ve seen this play out already😂 but sure, keep thinking this video is accurate. Then in 20 years you can be on social media like me ranting about how we don’t have any of those things they said we’d have back in 20…..
Your presentation brought such a vibrant energy, perfectly in tune with the times. ✨ Thank you immensely, dear "Simply Tech " 🌟 Your dynamic sharing truly illuminated the moment. 🌍
Whenever we all start doing better and creating things that last instead of keep fixing and reusing the same things that are known to break might can start making progress
@@matowakanAbso fuckin lutely not. The goverment already owns you, do you just let some megabusiness control your car? What if you say something controversial and now you go drive your fancy self-driving car, oopsies. You dead.
@@m3vm3 Technology could be ready that doesnt mean its happen , there has not been any changes really on how we travel from a to b in the last 60yrs . This is not like creating some new like applications where they fix bugs in updates and patches , you make litte mistakes here and people die . What im trying to say is alot of these smart asses like to talk a lot , its just how their brain works i guess they understand how the things come so they speculate a lot , but that doesnt mean its gonna happen since its not up to them or a single group .
They never really said that. Pop Science (the magazine) had lots of articles about what things COULD come out and theorized. But no one ever said it was gonna be flying cars. People automatically thought that cause of Blade Runner and Back to the future haha.
I just feel like as time continues on, our lives are just going to get more boring. I bet 1980s kids had more fun then kids now. If we can live forever then we will run out of things to do. The virtual holidays in the metaverse will mean we don't get to enjoy the real earth.
Yeah but it’s not like it was sunshine and rainbows as drugs were becoming more popular so seeing someone casually smoking, doing cocaine, the Cold War was still going on, easier to kidnap children since they didn’t have mobile phones on them to ring for help. I think the present is always better but of course some problems go away and some don’t or some new ones get invented.
GM and other automakers used parts on demand for years. Those plants run like an orchestra! As soon as one part is used, it is immediately ordered according to the recent orders.
It’s 2023, and the world is worse off then the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Economy is garbage, the government is corrupt, technology has changed but not in a actual noticeable way. People seem to have lower IQ compared to previous generations. Humanity is currently all about money, popularity, and self indulgence.
I honestly think it’s sad how electricity is taking over our lives. Why cant we all just live how people used to in the 1900’s? I really hope none of this is true because in my opinion it’s sad how much our phones revolve around our lives.
If you delve into the "House of the Future" as designed by Disney in the 1950s, you'll see that their predictions are vaguely right. The same here. This is one version of what the (mostly western world) will possibly be. I noticed precious few old people, no foreign cultures and no pushback by fearful people. That seems more likely. The other items will be a possibility at best.
In 2050 I'll be 64, alot will change. My parents will be 89 and 98. Right now, I'm enjoying my Ramadhan while traveling in Istanbul. I have no kids, no husband. I love my life ❤. I hope I can say all this still in 2050.
I remember scientific magazine doing articles about the future with flying cars and cities under the sea. Those things never happened but the internet was not foreseen. I see the gap between rich and poor becoming bigger and bigger. Technology is for the rich and always has been.
Most information technology has been democratized and is available to those who are not rich. There are even poor villagers in Bangladesh who have smartphones and access to the Internet. You and I can just as easily watch RU-vid videos as Elon Musk.
If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life.
Please I need someone to help me trade or invest the forex or crypto market because I'm tired of trading in losses myself. I've blown my account twice and it's frustrating.
@Jessica Benjamin Her success story is everywhere. I keep on hearing expert Mrs Juana name being mentioned here and other platforms, Does she really worth the credits and reviews?
@@EdwinRiquez yeah she does , and in my opinion, it's a huge one and chance for you to change your life with trading.. I just bought my dream Mercedes from last week's profit. All thanks to her expertise.
With a hypothetical 3D-printed steak, the molecules in the 3D-printed version would be just as real as the molecules in the version that came from killing a cow. However, humanity would not have to expend the required resources to raise cows and deal with the environmental consequences that cows create, such as the production of methane gas. Therefore, the price of a nice steak should become more affordable and more of humanity would have access to such a steak.

Space elevators will greatly reduce the cost of space travel, as will the abundant resources of the solar system, cheap abundent clean energy, and other developments such as automation and A.I.
I would give anything to see what the future of earth and humanity looks like in the year 3000 whether that means the earth is completely destroyed or humans are wiped out. I would just love to see what it looks like. I would be very interested if the the great conundrum of space travel is solved. I mean the next closest planet that even looks potentially habitable would take over 4 years of constant travel at the speed of light to reach it and from our current understanding nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. It seems so impossible so that would be amazing to see to see if they manage to find a way to travel faster or something to get to other planets or places that are millions of lightyears away. You would basically have to teleport.
By 2050 very few people will have cars, as they will all be forced to live in smart cities and 15 minute cities. Most people will use public transportation. Watching this video is exactly like the new social contract envisioned by the World Economic Forum in service of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. What the video didn't tell you is that they will scan people's brains, which will be monitored by your employer. Raises and bonuses will be determined by your brain activity. AI will know you better than you know yourself and will tell you what sex your attracted to, as well as who to vote for. Technology and Social Emotional Learning will be used to control the population politically and economically.
Pra quem esperava que no ano 2000 teríamos carros voadores, Tipo aqueles do filme De volta para o futuro, temos aí um atraso de 23 anos até o momento !
We would have flying cars, but not many. We do have self-driving cars, etc. Not every technology is embraced well. So it will always be, for those who can afford the investments.
The details in this video are not set in stone. It is up to us to choose our future. Do we want AI to serve us or to take over our humanity? Our human potential is greater than much of what is being shown here. Choose what YOU want.😊
However, I don’t think a handful of jobs will ever be totally replaced by AI, instead enhanced by machine learning for occupations such as engineers, doctors, science researchers etc
The future is uncertain and unpredictable. We can't predict our future cause something changes gonna happen in our upcoming tomorrow. But we can hope it.
millions of unnecessary deaths, corrupt governments, systemic injustice, mass inequality for race and sex and so many other things are completely fine? can we not become better?
Many people will see this as a Paradise, I see this as a Curse and downfall of Humanity i also imagine there will probably be mass Suicides aswell you'd probably see people will probably be more Unhappier in 2050 than in 2022.
One 100% correctly said At present there is no humanitarian work in the world of humans🤦😥😭 2034 mother nature Will start to balance. To look after other living beings
i will turn 35y old after one month and i am already very bad at technology, this video made me realise that i must take some adult beginner computer courses.
