Im from Birmingham uk. Since i came across these ladies ive been hooked..beautiful girls, beautiful musicians and music. Hope they go all the way to the top.

Just logged on to RU-vid as you posted this reaction! A big thank you for reacting to this. You first pronunciation of their name was correct. They are indeed sisters: Ellie (guitar) and Powell (banjo) are two of triplets (with their brother), and Lily (main vocals) is their younger sister. I think Castellow was their great-grandmother's maiden name and, yes, they are American - proper farmgirls. It's probably fair to say they're still relatively unknown but, saying that, they do have over one million followers on Instagram. That was where I 'discovered' them a few months ago, and was instantly hooked. I've played this song dozens of times since! I'm made up that you liked it. They've some beautiful acoustic/banjo songs on here on their channel - just the three of them, filmed 'unplugged' in a silo - that are well worth checking out. They have an EP due out next month (I've pre-ordered two signed copies, ha!). I really hope they stay true to their roots, and the future does seem very bright for them.
