Brother, it was yours and Church's music that brought my cousin and I back together. We had been against each other for 20 years, but one day I was listening to your songs...They were about us, and how we were raised...and what we did. I made the call, and we buried the hatchet. Thank you for this.
I meet Adam a few times over the years. I even got to be apart of music video "racism" This man didnt talk down to us or act like he was hot shit. He took us out to eat, invited us all to come hang out. This man is so down to earth. I feel Adam is bringin good rap back to life! Rapping about real life problems over fake ass wannabe B.S.
My wife, kids and I met you in Greensboro on on the Crazy White Boy tour. You made a point to hang out and talk with every fan that was there and even invited my son to come on stage and sing with you. Your attitude and demeanor was absolutely amazing and that was a night my family and I will never forget. Thank you brother 🤘
"Upchurch, jelly, struggle, myself and sprinkle and Lil Tom macdonald in there". Literally names my Spotify play list and the only people I listen to 🙌🏼💯 !!
I’m a bartender in my small honkytonk town. All of us listen to you and upchurch and bump your songs on the jukebox. We want to make ppl like you and the artists that play in the bar famous not these stupid celebrities and artists who sell out for money. You ARE famous. To REAL people, you are famous.
I see a immediate need for shirts and bumper stickers that say this with Adam’s picture smiling with that wave he did. Priceless. I’d rock the shit out of it and I’d put a huge decal of it on the back window of my Range Rover. #facts
Honestly was one of the best hugs I've gotten for a long time gay as that sounds. Always spends time with fans after the show like hours after the show. Outspoken but real as it gets.
I love your authenticity and love for country, not to mention your common-sense approach to thinking. And im a 61 year old black female. You, upchurch, and struggle are the real deal. Keep on pushing. Much love ❤️
I call it rap. I grew up in a middle class neighborhood. Listen to rap mostly. But old head's I rolled with listen to country and rock. So I grew up with it all. But urban lifestyle is what I grew up in and I like a mix. But my heart ❤ is rap. Adam is killing it!!!
I had the pleasure of meeting Adam in Charlotte NC at his concert. To me the time I spent talking to him my impression was that he was a real ass chill dude. After his performance he stayed and meet everyone that wanted to hang around after the show to take pictures, sign stuff, or just have a conversation with. He speaks his mind and people can't stand that and want to try to destroy someone with a voice.
Met you in Boise at the Rev with Demun Jones and yhe smile Adam had when he came out to meet everyone and when my lady and myself gave him a hug you could tell n feel how reel the dude really is and how genuinely stoked he was to meet us it was awesome and I cant wait for another show...real AF you are ACAL 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲❤❤❤❤🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧
Damn that's real. Adam and all the independent artists he mentioned our the voices that can help us keep America great. Wish more people new what is really going on with our country right now wake up people.
He raps about what he lived…so ..it’s not about America being Great, it’s about his life, his struggles ,his success.America will never be great until people unite , equal in all aspects.I wish you really knew what’s going on in this country, you know like it was not discovered by Columbus, that there was people living here ,that we are the colonizers. But yea ,enlighten us what’s really going on in America, that makes it not great, there is a whole lot of things to mention why it’s not.
I like how he acknowledged tom. Thats strait humility. All yall are most definitely crushing it non stop with zero end in sight full steam ahead. Much love and respect to church tho. Hes going through some rough shit and I can only imagine the fire in his soul right now thats been ignited. Much love and respect to all those who know what the real America was and is supposed to be. 🇺🇲 "i miss the old days home of the brave"
@@andrewvalov4665 its not about whose the "biggest" its about doing whats right and whats natural as opposed to what you're "told" and being the typical fake ass sellout just for a dollar. These guys are doing just fine and having fun doing it because they're FREE to do things their way. Freedom of expression. Not this "you can have an opinion but it has to agree with mine or its not valid" bullshit. America the way it was when I was growing up. 🇺🇲 freedom.
@@justinlarrabee7932 I hear you guy. I am saying that he says the big 3 as if Tom McDonald isn't one of the bigs. Bigger than all of them. And Tom is certainly doing his own thing.
@@andrewvalov4665 I think maybe he meant Tom MacDonald is more of the 'urban' rap granted he is a normal white guy. He's not really country like Church or Adam or Struggle or Jelly he's a more urban white rapper but does do some country related type rap stuff too. So he says 'sprinkle a little Tom' and what he means is there's some songs from Tom that are in the same genre.
This Dude is a real one met him at Hard times in Fredericksburg Virginia one of the most humblest nicest Men I have ever chopped it up with. What you see here is exactly what you see in real life
My wife, son, sons friend and I met you in Reading, Pa. You were down to earth and friendly. I had your " It's ok to be American" t-shirt on and you told me nice shirt. 🤟 Keep being you that's what we like!
ACAL I’m glad you have made it man! The world needs more people like you and church to speak out for the normal ass people in this crazy ass world 🇺🇸🇺🇸💪🏼
At the end of the day its hard work and determination, not bowing to quit. To get paid doing something u love sounds like the American dream to me. U can tell these city slickers ain't never been to the sticks or stuck in the mudd! I wonder if they know what dirt is. U said it best "no race when the bass hits" u either skilled or not. I've been producing my own beats since elementary. I just love to make my own shit and then listen to it in my Silverado. I like how u do your own thing unique and creative. Be your own man so to speak! Haters gonna hate, hate us cause they ain't us. He must've had the hiccups when he said hick-hop and was to lazy to re-record it again. Who can be so jealous of a white man making hip hop? I know one person who won't have his own before they were famous episode. That hip hop hater!!! I don't care what anyone tries to say to me I'm still gonna make those beats knock. I've never posted anything of mine on social media due to fears someone will steal my music and say they made it or some shit. I'm white and from Kentucky u can call me a redneck but don't disrespect the sticks cause we talk funny and sleep with our sisters. Haha. Kentucky stereo type. I was born and raised taught right from wrong, god and guns will keep us strong, together we stand , divided we fall, don't tread on me and ball till you fall or till the wheels fall off this ride called life damned if u do, banned if your right. God will make these sons a bitches pay for messing with our rights or the country this way, 2020 with the vision to see, elections ain't what they use to be. If sleeping in the basement is the president I guess I'm running for president. If come election night all votes ain't in then guess who the fu ck stole it again. I'm glad they think of us this way. It gives us the upper hand to win. O TelePrompTer joe that racist f u c k he's gotta know his fake run is up, sad for the country, pray for the kids, don't forget and hard to forgive. I can only imagine u killing my beats after you murder the tracks as crowds stomp their feet. Hickhop what an assho1e comment to say just cause white guys not from la, f u c k whatever he says, stay real to yourself, and everydays payday. Amen
I met Adam when we were shooting “the dollar” music video in Nashville. By far one of the most real dudes I’ve ever met. Chilled in the parking lot listening to music with us for a few hours after the video and managed to get Adam into a Prius 😂. Honored to be a small part of the video, keep up the good shit Adam!
@@dustinsindledecker154 just because we "Trumpers" dont like the prius doesnt mean when going somewhere with somebody we are going to look at the vehicle and say fuck no i cant get in that. Because we are adults not immature children like people who call Republicans "Trumpers"
Love the independent Army. 30 + soldiers strong and still growing🙏🔥🇺🇸. With Adam up there at the front Edit: definitely the names that he dropped are no doubt the Frontline Generals. No denying the power and impact they have at this point
@@teedot2791 i think people leaves burden out cause he loses his shit. He goes over the boundaries and always gets deleted blocked red flagged and silenced. You put your self in that enviroment then your a hard target also.
@@teedot2791 I agree that they are great. But I wouldn't necessarily put them on the front line. Just due to terms of popularity and overall influence. Burden is definitely on his way up to the front, but I don't think he's quite there yet. But they are both incredible artists that is for sure
@@ntoxic8edx I don't necessarily disagree with that. IMO, although he is a great artist, he is also still a hot headed kid. And it's not so much about age as attitude. I love that he dgaf, but I don't always agree with his approach. But that's just me I know people who say he's their favorite😉
I don’t listen to rap, never been my thing. Because I just don’t find it relatable. Sounds cool, just can’t get into it. Then I found you guys, I roll up in my Kenworth blasting y’all’s shit and I can’t get enough. Keep it up, I love it and thank you!
Personally met you, shook your hand, had a great conversation after a show. You’re humble & care about your fans. You want wants best for the country. You preach that. Never heard of that genre he is trying to categorize you as… And I listened all of you.
I met you at the moonshine bandits on fire video shoot and you couldn’t have been more real. Shooting the shit with everyone and making sure everyone was apart of what you guys were doing. I appreciate you Acal and everything you stand for man!
Idk why its so hard for people to just be human its the easiest thing i do all day as they say harder to frown than smile just be nice be honest and make sure not to give or takr anyshit at one point in history it was summed up in treat others as ypu would like to be.....but it was so long ago that applied to most people
I drove 400 miles one way to see ACal during Crazy White Boy Tour. His energy on stage was amazing and meeting him afterwards was in the top 3 best things to ever happen to me. Can't wait to see you again man! Keep up the great work
Which one did you make it too? I was at the SLC show. Best show I've ever seen. Coolest dudes too adam, demun, and mesus all waited and shook all our hands
@@redbeardreturns3550 we went to flint Michigan. We were a little worried but literally every vehicle in the lot was a pick up truck so we knew we were good. They stayed for 2 hours doing a meet and greet after. It was the best.
@@brianatharp4230 oh fer sure. Yeah they were some awsome people. And the crowd was great too! Awsome fan base. Well besides the drunk asshole who twerked on me, but ya know... Did they play Racism at the show you went too?
Met you at the music video shoot in Nashville for your song the dollar, you were so humble at the amount of people that showed up. You stayed an extra hour or so to meet all of us and take pictures, even let us listen to unreleased music. Nicest and most humble man I've ever met
Met him on the side of the road when he was working out lol. He is the best dude ever, he is totally how he says he is 100% authentic love this guys music and Im proud to say he’s from my town
I met you at your house for The Patriot video shoot, I never met a more humble down to earth person other than my father, grandfather. Love ya man, and I got turned onto your music from a friend at work.
Idgaf what they want to call it, your music hits on a level that no "rapper" could ever hit on, between you, Upchurch, and Demon Jones it's about all I listen to and I'm 48 yrs old brother. Love your music and keep up the great work!
@@dustinsindledecker154 😂 you aint wrong 💀 i like watching this guys videos, but his music is sum ass. The fans that like his music are mid 30s white suburban folk who can’t wrap their head around rap
Found it interesting in that "Before they were famous" That they list Adam as a "Hick-hop artist" but they called Hosier a "Country rapper" what a Joke. Adam is at the pinnacle of the rap mountain, Hosier hasn't even crested the foothills.
Met Adam at Kegs Canal Side in Jordan NY for a concert. He drove his Own truck instead of riding in his tour bus and was looking for a ACTAUL "LOCAL" fan to take ride with him to a gas station so he could get fuel for his truck. Now that's cool as shit. My wife and I got to talk to him for a bit and take pictures. He's cool as fuck and a real dude!!!
I like Adam Calhoun, Struggle Jennings, Ryan Upchurch, and Tom McDonald. I've never listened to Jelly Roll but I imagine he's as dope as the first four.
ADAM I WANT TO SEE A TOUR CALLED "THE INDEPENDENCE TOUR" WITH YOU, CHURCH, JELLY ROLL, STRUGGLE AND TOM!! Sorry for the caps...just wanted to you see this lol
My coworker met him in Indiana and drank with him after a show and said and I quote “Adam Calhoun was one of the most down to earth genuine, nice, and fun people I’ve met” and I fully believe that
Bro, I met you when you came to Fredericksburg, VA. You are by far one of the most humble people I’ve ever met, and you were continuously grateful for everyone that came out to see you. You had a huge line of people waiting to see you but you still took time out to talk to everyone. I told you I discovered you when I was deployed to Afghanistan and the first thing you immediately did was thanking me for my service before I could finish my sentence haha. Love you brother.
I met Adam when he came to Upstate New York, dude is far from that famous ego that most guys get. Had some super down to earth conversations before the show, he’s just a normal guy like the rest of us just doing what he likes to do.
HipHop head since day one and so happy to have found a dope ass country rapper! Artist! Raw energy and Bars! Love your music! Much respect from Los Angeles 💫
The thing is dat Adam has been in the #1 he has spit facts that’s no one wants to speak bout Adam has been fire w all of his albums he’s going to make more #1
Met you in person in Cleveland. You were one of the most humble artist I've ever met in my life. Keep being you adam. I told you my fiance got me the ticket for Father's day and then you said happy Father's day.
And Demun had his vest his girls made him for Father's day on at that show. That was a hella show they all performed! A-Cal went above and beyond to personally meet and thank everyone there, Demun did as well. Great memories!
I got to meet you in Taylorville, IL I didn't want to bother you for a picture because I could see you were just trying to get across the vendor area. You told me it was fine you didn't mind you were just going over there and pointed. Next, you said taking a picture "it is my job, here want me to take the picture?" have no idea how much that meeting meant to me. Especially that night I was there in memory of my son. His friends went above and beyond to get me a VIP pass for the weekend and meeting you made it that much better! You are one of the few that is true to yourself, no shame in your game! So here's a glass of wild turkey 2 fingers on the rocks cheers to being a Badass down-to-earth American man! Thank you for being so real and being so true to you! Love your music hope to see another one of your shows soon :)
Man A.Cal is the SHIT! Salute to you brother on everything you've done and about to do. And to my native Nashvillians Church and Jelly yall keep killin it!!!!!!
Met you in Taylorsville, Illinois this year at the tailgates and tallboys show. You was nothing but cool to me and my daughter! Keep making these great videos.
The music speaks for itself. One of my favorite things to watch is reaction videos to your music. Watching people’s head explode hearing your stuff. Killing it brother.
You and demun at the forge in Joliet. Met ya while you were walking your dog out front. You left the show to go get cases of beer, park right on the curb in the cummins. Did a meet n greet afterwards and signed my 2nd amendment jersey. Hands down my favorite show. My wife missed it due to a surgery, you gave me a shirt and signed it for her
I remember being 15 around a campfire in the middle of the woods with my buddies bumping wutang, immortal technique, etc. We were all hicks in a small town but it didn't matter. Rap is universal just like any other good music anybody could vibe with. The white/black divide that only broke ass failing haters push is imaginary. Real recognizes real
Completely killed it with that response. No way he could come back with anything other than a face to face interview and an apology. Stay true and do what you do Acal and no we always GY6
What’s up skin!! I met you at Redneck Rave in Madison IN, you was just like anyone of us, hanging out drinking gettin muddy having a damn good time. Living life to its fullest. You’re an amazing person. You would make everyone around feel welcomed and never left anyone out. I enjoyed kick with you, Justin time, Big Murph, wished upchurch was there but y’all are truly amazing people🙏🏻❤️🤘🏻
ACAL you and church have to be one of the most humble set of rap artists I’ve seen or heard y’all made it from the bottom with no hand outs a strong grit and a strong determination to never say “ I quit” most artists get so caught up in the money they are making they eventually lose sight of why they started in the first place but you and church have never forgot where y’all came from and y’all keep shit real so imma keep bumpin y’all till the subs blow keep up the good brother you deserve it 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
That's why I mostly listen to you and upchurch and sprinkle every bit of genre into my playlists. Self-made through hard work and grit. Keep on doing great things Adam! Much respect and proud of you!
Say you 2 times this year in Chicago Illinois and Taylorville Illinois. Both great times and ran in to you and Jelly Roll in Taylorville at the hot dog stand an took pics an got talk with both of you. Thanks my Brother
I've met Adam 2 times along with demun Jones and Adam is just a normal guy he has no problem interacting with his fans most down to earth dude you'll ever meet
Big dawg your the greatest up there with some legends that actually made songs about life…. Then these now artists that makes music about shit they ain’t never done…. Keep going brother don’t stop

This type of music is blowing up!!! I wish the music industry would give y'all mad credit cause it's way past due. Keep pumping out that juicy music that's so sweet to my ears!! Much Love💛🤟
I don't listen to anything but you who tf is Justin time, big murf, burden, mesus, demon Jones, nu Breed, w/o Jesse Howard, over time, bottle neck, topher, Ryan Upchurch,,Tom McDonald,Appalachian Don,
I have never met you, but you have always been up front and honest about your past, about where you come from, and you speak to the BS about the government. It doesn't matter what other people say or think about you, keep doing what you're doing, we are listening!
When I watched the “before they were famous” I was yelling at my screen like a spazmatic psychopath the entire episode and I was stoked that they did one on Adam he’s a badass artist representing the American man all American men. What a truly good guy! Nothing but love from Washington state keep killing it bro!!!!!
I'm calling you a artist and you have been recognized for your hard work. You have a unique style and have earned it. Don't let the stupid people bring you to their level. God bless you. Never been a fan of rap but I've come to realize that you speak about life and how it really is. I'm a follower of Jesus Christ and I believe God use everyone for a purpose to reveal truth. God bless you and your family. See you in heaven.
Met Adam at club Vera in new jersey as a black man he’s the most humble down to earth dude I’ve ever met tried buying him a shot got shut down because he wasn’t having it so instead he bought me shots all night love this dude here!!!
When I met you in Madison, I said what's up shook your hand and told you I loved the show and the music you've been releasing. It was like talking to a pretty normal human lol whatever the hell that means
Met u in Indy. Very real, Very original! U showed great pride in America and its military. Had us come up with u and toast a beer. U were like a friend at a bonfire and couldn't tell u were a popular artist. Id buy ya beer and invite ya to the sandbar for drinks anytime ! Hope yr son is doing well and stateside.
But on the real though; you, Tom MacDonald, and Church are the most real sniggas (Mama Susan don't wanna let acolored boi speak his mind, izz aight mastah I's understands) in the game.
