Muscat and the coast of Oman fell from the control of Portugal, as in 1633, the Ya’ariba forces, led by Nasser bin Murshid, were able to expel the Portuguese from Julfar and Dibba, and they regained Sohar in 1643. The fighting continued until Muscat, the last Portuguese stronghold, was liberated in 1650 under the leadership of the new Imam Sultan bin Saif, who took office the previous year after the death of his cousin, Imam Nasser bin Murshid.

Dubai is okay I guess… just one place in the whole UAE considering Dubai “beautiful” ? It’s really expensive too.. and I am a Muslim and I see a lot of alcohol and pork in Dubai when I went last time, I don’t really like the UAE because they have a support to Israel which is clearly not great

Dubai is the only beautiful place in the UAE.. because they only have burj khalifa.. I don’t know bout y’all but to me, Dubai is okay I guess.. it’s so expensive like wth.. when people come back from Dubai, half of their money is gone of how expensive the place is.. Plus there are other countries that are beautiful, not just one place in the UAE..

Almost the entirety of this video is inaccurate. In the mid-17th century, the Portuguese were expelled from the Arabian Peninsula and much of the surrounding environs. After the election of Nasir bin Murshid Al-Ya'rubi as Imam of Oman in 1624, Oman was finally able to expel the Portuguese colonizer that had arrived over a century earlier. It was oman when they defeated Portugal, and no British or Dutch armies had helped oman. And also the name of the country or the flag was not uae's. It was during the 20th century that the governors of northern oman ( commonly known as oman coast or pirate coast) revolted against the sulthan and using the influence of the British they broke away from oman. Till the 20th century, there was no uae, it was just oman. It is only after 1976 that uae was really formed.... They don't have any history dating centuries

@stateballs VIDEO IDEA: TITLE: SCOTLAND and England in 1400s vs in 2000s. Scotland country ball and England country ball standing on either side of each other, Scotland holding a bow and arrow pointing at England, and England holding a Lance pointing at Scotland, and it says 1400s at the bottom, and then it says 2000s at the bottom with an enormous country appearing behind them, and it's UK, who seems to be angry and looks at them, then Scotland and England have to shake hands and place the UK flag between them and they then show thumbs up to UK. ( kind of like what you did with the Ukraine and Russia Video)
