Ireland reaction would be more confusion...are we sad or happy or indifferen...did we even get to have goodbye sex? It really would be a lot to take in.
I’m so sorry, but here are a few opinionated corrections, coming from a Brit: Russia- Wouldn’t kill us, but it would still be good news. At the moment, the U.K is under no threat of Russia. France- Lots of French people hate the British, especially the English. Depending on how the U.K falls, they could be happy or pitying us. British Empire- The empire wouldn’t be in heaven, and it is rather rude to suggest a positive attitude between the empire and modern-day U.K. Ireland- The Irish… are complicated. We have built relatively stable relationships politically with mainland U.K, but there is obviously still conflict with Northern Ireland. Pakistan- So… a *lot* of people from the Indian subcontinent, including Pakistan, move to the U.K. Furthermore, they are somewhat allies and I believe that Pakistan is also a member of the Commonwealth. I doubt their reaction would be ‘I don’t care’. European Union- Nice joke. I feel that the difficulty in relation between the U.K and E.U is well known enough by now, it’s rather obvious that they would likely have a more… sour… reaction. Especially if collapse of the U.K is caused by revolution from Scotland against, largely, England (and possibly Wales). Argentina- BRO WE’RE PRETTY MUCH ALRIGHT. According to an Argentine I know, they don’t actually hate us and it’s just a stereotype that came as a side effect of the Falkland Wars. We don’t hate them either ❤ U.S.A- Very controversial… I don’t think most Americans see the U.K as a father-nation, especially considering their patriotism when it comes to their independence. Furthermore, we in the U.K now have a left-wing government, Labour. South Africa- Another commonwealth country, and our best trading partner in Africa. Like with Pakistan, we get quite a few South Africans moving to the U.K. Positive relations and benefits for both, so I doubt they’d be overjoyed at our collapse. Poland- the U.S.A is Poland’s strongest ally. We may love and support the Polish here, and would certainly go to war for them again, but the Americans are obviously stronger than we are. Israel- Doubt it’d be ‘depressed’. There’s lots of Pro-Palestinian people here, and you can even see a hell of a lot showing support to Palestine on Cambridge University (a globally recognised university, being based in England). Do love Israel, just not what they’re doing. --- Of course, I may have missed out a bit due to not knowing relations with Indonesia or Mexico very well, but there’s eleven of the corrections. For Ireland, it can differ depending on who you speak to. Though, there are a large population of people in the U.K with Irish ethnicity somewhere in the line, so there is that. Love y’all, from the U.K ❤
