I feel like the Solicitor I spoke to was very dismissive of my situation and did not offer advice as to how he could assist in resolving my situation, and aired more empathy on the side of the Claimant. Innocent until proven guilty, a solicitor representing a defendant is supposed to do all they can to prove their defendants innocence not make them feel like they caused their problems and will have to live with the consequences. Not happy with this service at all. Turns out, after speaking to legal experts in another forum that the claimant, in my case my local authority, have not even followed the proper process and have lied on their claim form and ommitted crucial info, somthing the solicitors from this firm would have found out had the bothered to look at the forms or even asked for further info rather than casting blame. Shame on them!!

Hi thank you for the video but I'm worried about the part mentioned about high court bailiffs. He mentions they can get a warrant and evict a tenant on the same day. Will this be with or without written notice for the tenant? How would the tenant know if the bailiffs are coming? Surely, even high court bailiffs must make the tenant aware in writing first.

Hi, thank you for your video. I am a bit confused what I heard from you at the end… so County Court Bailiffs may be available even within a month (so quiet a long wait) and they will serve the tenants 14 days of notice, but HCEO Bailiffs can be available quicker (how quick? Whats the minimum waiting time for them to start acting) and also do they also must give 14 days of notice to the tenants? From what you said, I understood that as soon as they are appointed they will just come and evict the tenants same day, with no notice?? Thank you

Hi @eeesss4026! to answer the question, it may take over a month for county court bailiffs to enforce the warrant. A warrant of possession will be sent after a possession order. High court agents tend to act quicker when it comes to enforcing a warrant of possession. Here's a quick summary of the video in article form: moneynerd.co.uk/county-court-bailiff-warrant-possession/ Hope this helps!

@@MoneyNerd HI yes, I am uncertain too. If high court bailiffs can get a warrant and evict on the same day- do they still give a written warning to the tenant of their expected arrival at the tenants residence? So the tenant can be notified upfront.
