When I turned 72 years of age, I thought it was time to purchase a County Line 25-ton log splitter. I usually cut, hand split, load, and stack 5 cords of firewood at least 10 months ahead of next burning season. Although I miss the quietness of hand splitting, this machine is easy to operate, fun to use, well made, and well thought-out. This video shows transporting the splitter via my 2020 Polaris Ranger EV to several piles of wood split the day before and the current day's work. A long the way we see my efforts at erosion control on one of the roads I built years ago. I'm able to do in little over an hour what would have taken me over 4-hours to do with my Fiskars Splitting Ax.
