I had a Rottweiler and I saw him laughing and at first I could not believed it. A few minutes before, he scared a guy and made him run. I was amazed.

We just adopted a a new dog and he smiles everytime he sees me! I love it❤️ I will openly tell my kids that lucky is my favorite child and they can't even be mad about it! He's the best brother they have❤

My shiba is a smiling fool....my cattle dog did as well😢..miss him hard....like a deep pain. My shiba is my life preserver....keeps me afloat when I wanted to drown in the pain of his loss

To clarify - that puppy was purchased from a breeder, not adopted. Adopting requires going to a shelter or a rescue. Please adopt don't shop!

I wish I could adopt, but the shelters in my country makes it hard. If I live in an apartment, then the only choice I have is to shop. Even if I wanted to adopt a dog from a shelter, the shelter would not let me do so. No matter what breed of dog you are looking at adopting, you must not live in an apartment. It makes it hard for many people to help those sweet dogs find a home :(

@astridmaack4516 I'm really sorry your country has made it so hard to help shelter dogs. I know here in Canada it can also be difficult to get an apartment with a larger dog. Hopefully things change because the animals need it!

They didn’t adopt, they purchased. This is a breeder making money and breeding dogs.

I had the privilege of playing with a 3week old litter of German shepherds puppies at a friend's house. I was not planning of getting any of them. But this one little puppy came to me and crawled into my lap for warmth. At that moment I knew she was going to be my baby. I kept going back weekly to check on her and play with the puppies, and everytime I went, there were 3 of the 8 puppies with me, and at the last visit, I told my friend I wanted 2 (which she was happy as she was having trouble finding homes for the puppies), and the 2nd one was always part of the 3 that I hang out with. When they pick you, you know. ❤

That’s called a grimace , it’s because he was really fearful , the other puppies were hiding turning there faces away , i hope they were being looked after properly by breeders , puppies are usually poor friendly and outgoing

@@stargirl6419while I agree that the grimace can indicate fear, this is not always the case and is context dependent. My golden retriever has done this all her life as a way of greeting people and I assure you she is not a fearful dog.

@@helenlangvold3617 I get why they called that, but we are not necessarily wrong as you put it, in this case there is much more body language here going on. You could only focus on their smile, but body language says something else the position of the body, tail and ears are equally important!

With most breeds that would be the case, but shiba inus are odd ones. Their smiles can be taken at face value, especially when their eyes are all squinty and their ears are laid back. There's one I watch who gets all smiley and wiggly when he's excited to see his grandma. Another gets like that sometimes and brings toys to their owner.

adopted or bought? these are breed specific, and tho prob many are in need of rescue, please adopt dont shop (although tt costs a lot) more once you get them....stay safe. of course commenters will rant at me for saying so. very cute puppy.
