Anna S far from being a stupid comment - a British style invitation will differ completely from a Greek or Portuguese or French invitation etc etc Each country is so very different in just about every way possible from the next. Europe is just a geographical term for Countries located there. We don’t even share a common language!!!! So it’s extremely disrespectful to ‘lump all together’ and to try to justify it, by saying ‘Oh they’re all European!’ I wouldn’t dream of disrespecting the USA in such a way, by saying ‘well it’s all American!’ Having travelled widely in America, I recognise that each State has its own characteristics, which defines it, so please give us ‘European’s’ the same respect! Perhaps if you actually traveled in Europe, you’d see, just where your argument falls short!!!!

@@annas4843 Because Canada and the US are in North America Canada never gets mentioned but assumed because of so called similarities we fall under the US umbrella. We really are not that similar in most ways.

People should know who they are marrying before they plan their fantasy wedding they can't afford. If you go to the store and you don't have enough, well then, pur that non essential item back. People don't want to marry real people.

I bought a gown through an auction for $60. When it arrived. I was shocked with its high quality. It was custom French silk couture gown with a cathedral train in a Grace Kelly type style. I also found Martha Stewart custom invites that were on clearance. The invites had 3D Gerber daisy, printed interior envelops, matching RSVP with the same printed envelopes. They included instruction on printing, which was easily done on a HP inject. I only had $0.40 per total invite. The postage ended up being more costly. The invites looked so classy & expensive. The only downside, was having to drive to multiple stores to get enough. I even found matching ceremony pamphlets, place cards, menus, & thank you cards.

I agree. You both have to have the same financial picture. The gambling machines? Roflmao.. Marriage is a huge gamble.

There lots of blue flowers: bluebells, Iris, nigella, cornflowers, violets, clematis, campanula, forget-me-nots, hydragenas, gentiana, ... None of them are particularly tacky. If a wedding planer is not able to help here and your choice end at dyed roses, rethink your choice of a weddingplanner.

@@stefaniebraun3319 There isn't a tiffany blue rose is what my point was. I was excluding non cut or smaller flowers like blue bells & forget me nots. Which are a light sky blue, not Tiffany blue. I was also talking about the larger bouquet varieties. A hydrangea while beautiful isnt usu. used in bouquets or as tossed petals. The tiffany blue rose petals immediately read VERY fake & tacky. I paid for a glass church in a rose/flower garden which one could get married in the garden too. My venue also included an in-house reception area & a onsite wedding planner/organizer. Everything had a place chart & was oraganized via church or reception. I had several meetings to go over my wishes. I even hired my florist to help decorate the reception. It was the venue director who messed up my platinum pkg. The petals were done after I agreed the church & reception areas looked fine. It could'nt be fixed once I saw it walking down the isle. They definitely got a piece of my mind!
