Love these Chevy's. Built with real steel and iron. Today's Chevy's are plastic and computer chips. I would rather have a high hp squarebody that's been restored nicely. Beautiful with style the best part is actually being able to get under hood and do anywork on engine yourself. No computer tech to dial it In for me . Simple American V8 power. A nice high hp big block is my bucket list. If I can build me one I will be content in any DICTATORSHIP
Ol "LEAD FOOT on the right would still be whoopin' "THUNDERBOLT", (On the, left), with a little GUN, control... On that, throttle.... I had a 1980 Monte Carlo with a 400 SBC B&M stage II, equipped. I could put it on the mat running 30MPH through town & she would recycle those little 14" tires, RIGHHT NOW! The BEST part is that the linkage to the kick down cable, .... well,.. I never hook it up, i just leave it laying on the, intake. Then, I'd manual shift the, valve body & she shifted when I wanted her to, shift. (Up and/or, Down, didn't & doesn't matter.) My friends with ford's say that if you leave a Ford or Dodge kick down cable unhooked it'll mess up the, tr♡nny? I couldn't tell you... I'd rather PUSH my Chevy than drive a, Ford..✌❤💯
I would much rather watch two good ole boys battle it out on the street with home built hot rods than quarter million to 1/2 million dollar race cars with an unlimited budget from big-time Networks any day
