Which is why Ivan didn't kill her like he did the others (Alexander the great did die from poison and Frederick the great did die while sitting in an armchair, but at a much older age than he was in this battle.)

Also she turned it around on Ivan by making the chess metaphor, since as Alexander mentioned, Ivan died in the middle of a game of chess.
