I wish people would research chickens more prior to getting them. They like to explore so keeping them in that space is akin to keeping a dog in a dog run/kennel their whole life.

I would love to downsize my seasonal totes but, so far, haven't been able to do so. Christmas alone is about 4-5 totes. Valentine's Day is 1 big tote, along with Easter and Halloween. Plus, my true treasures are my books. Maybe I need a tiny home to live in and another to hold my holiday totes and books. Heck, 2 tiny houses would still be smaller than most regular houses or apartments.

Oh yes! The cats are gorgeous! BTW I don’t know if this would work for you but I just saw a tiny house where the owner had a problem with his door not staying closed and he drilled a hole through it and put a small dowel in it and that worked! Such a simple solution for a bigger problem. Hope you can work that out. Peace & blessings!

What a beautiful space and all the areas around it. So much space to use outside. I will say little ones will come around, but with the experience they have now they could add a little bedroom and a playroom. I’m always disappointed when people move instead of using what they have.

Beautiful young couple with their priorities straight . You don’t need more than you need. Simple. They have a gorgeous lot that they’re utilizing in practical ways. They’re obviously not afraid of doing things that make real sense but may not be found in every home, (outdoor shower). We live in Texas and there is nothing better than rinsing off before coming inside . We stayed in a beach house on the emerald coast of Florida with my brothers and their families. Lots of kids, sand, etc. the outdoor shower was so nice I opted to just use that for all my showers that week. lol. ❤️

My granddaughter just got a really cool bed that lifts up and has storage underneath which would work well in tiny homes. I don’t have a tiny home but I’m getting one for a tiny guest bedroom and store linens and winter clothing.

I probably would’ve bought built a little bigger house since you own your own lot. I think having your own life is real best part of this deal, I don’t see the sense of having a tiny house if you gotta pay rent for space and you have a beautiful beautiful area that you’re in. Oh my gosh, I live in Southern California and there is no way in the world. I could shower outside in the winter. We don’t get cold winners, but it still gets chilly here. I don’t know how you do the outdoor shower in the winter time. Summer is no trouble spring probably is not a problem most of the time and probably even fall. But we still get some 40 and 50° weather even here in Southern California.
