At first I was worried she was a "rescue" fox but then I was very relieved to find out the family actually did make sure they were doing what's in the fox's best interest. That fox looks super happy

Sometimes wee animals cant reintroduced to the wild so thers nothing whatsoever wrong with giving an animal a safe warm home to spend the rest of its life with a caring family or carer. It warms my heart that animals can be saved and live a happy life. 😊

When I was a young teen in the ‘60’s a young Fox showed up on our doorstep wanting to come in. I think someone dumped her on our country road. We raised her indoors until she was too rambunctious and then my dad built her a pen. We’d take her on leash walks which she loved, but she hated coming back home. At around 3 she got out of her pen while I was going into it. She was spotted once after that. My Mom was sad but I knew she had a chance at a real life out in the wild where she wanted to be.

These people did all of the right things before they made this decision. It was confirmed by the correct people that this would be the best thing for her. She's living a great life with a loving family. May they live a long and happy life together. Thank You Cuddle Buddies for sharing this video and for the disclaimer at the end. Well done! 🙂

Roxy is living her best life since she’s a domesticated fox. Adorable doesn’t begin to describe her and all her antics like her zoomies are amusing to watch! And being best buds with Diesel proves love comes in all forms. 😊

She's so PRETTY! Look at that happy face! 1:02 😂 Omg her pouncing on the dog is hilarious. That set up in the basement is SERIOUS owner dedication. Wow! They weren't messing around! They went all out with that fully tiled run they created for her. She doesn't have a bedtime crate, she's got a full on rescue centre to go nunnights in. Zzzzzzz.... She literally looks like a kangaroo on her Mum's lap here. Even her head lifting up briefly from that angle looks like a kangaroo face. She's a Foxaroo! 🤣 2:40 She's lovely and I love to see how much room this couple made in their lives to cater to her needs. I wish everyone went to such lengths to gives their ANIMAL everything it needs to be happy and healthy, rather than just getting an animal for what it provides to THEM. Such as people who live alone and get a dog so THEY get to have dog company for a few hours after getting home from work - meanwhile the poor dog is stuck alone in the house from 8am - 6pm! They need company, affection, companionship, interaction, exercise, play, bonding, sunshine, but instead they're stuck indoors all day on their own. That's so selfish. You should get an animal because YOU want to serve their needs, not just so they serve yours. This is one beautiful, loving and completely bonkers household. Roxy flying around with the dog is adorable and so funny. It's obviously a very happy household. A bit mad at times...but aren't the best homes mental at times too? 😂 😘 ❤

Well these people did everything they could to make sure that the fox was raised correctly. I have to question how the shelter allowed the parents to breed. I would not personally raise a fox because they cannot be housebroken from everything I understand. I appreciate all the hard work these owners did to make sure it's okay and happy.

Im surprised the Aussie Shepherd warmed up to it. Mine is absolutely jealous... it took weeks for her to be ok with our Sheltie just existing. Eventually they became friends, but man... as adorable as their little faces and fluffy wiggle butts are, they can be extremely temperamental

Our cats and the dog didn't get along at first then eventually the cats figured out it was warm outside in his kennel and they'd sneak in and sleep with him. We ended up cutting a small entrance in the side of the cage for them. He was always an outside dog and when we were outside he was always with us

I don't see a problem. She live a longer life with them than in the wild. 1 to 3 years if lucky in the wild some make it a little longer. Anytime a life is saved it worth it.

I mean... you have a very slightly domesticated canine with a VERY domesticated canine. If your dog knew it was a "pet" of course it would get along well. Cats and dogs even get along in the same household.

It's not that people are not kind in their comment, that's the first natural reaction that pops up, because even if an animal is weak or different it belongs in its own habitat and will be welcomed with open arms or ruined, just like the behaviour of humans 😊 your deed is courageous and of course loving, but the fox needs its own kind a true soulmate, and your furniture would be in better shape 😶‍🌫️ the best was to set it free and get a soulmate for the dog, one big happy family ❤🥰😘✌️

I had a Baby Red Fox come up to me years ago while I was Small Game Hunting , I Didn't know why it would do that , Rabies ? I Don't know so I just scared it away .
