Im a big girl and i was triggered, not gonna lie. Ive worked through my trauma and i have a hell of a lot more self esteem now than i used to, but this photo, and its implications took me back to some dark times. Now that says more about me, than it does about anything in that photo. That being said, all parties involved knew what they were doing. I hope she was in on the joke. I hope she is not hurt by this.

Let’s just say that’s one ‘group’ photo I wouldn’t be in. We’d be the ones behind the camera taking the picture or waiting for a photo with a pose everyone could do. Sorry but they’d have to find another way to go viral without embarrassing me. It’s all fun and games until the day comes when they’re the ones turned to the side.

One thing for sure I know whoever’s idea it was to do this pose it wasn’t the couple on the ground, I would’ve declined to be in the photo. This was inconsiderate.

It opens up people to make xomments about the size difference between her and her friends/her and her man. As a photographer and person with a degree in digital media technology I'm mad at the people who took the photo and set up the poses... 1. Why are they in the middle and the other couple on the side ... it just throws off the whole pic. It wasn't staged right. They could have had them in the back and them doing something different in front or something . The positioning just make it stand out and look awkward. Whoever took the picture and didn't tell them better is the true villian... when a photo looks bad , speak up and suggest something or try and make it better. Which we actually don't know if they did or not.... but either way , it really ain't my business 🤷🏾‍♀️

As far as ppl saying "they're not your friends" I kinda agree. Speaking on couples retreats, It's like in the movie, "Why Did I Get Married" with Jill Scott. If that was your friend and her husband told her to drive when she was asked to get off the plane or buy a second ticket, why would your friend stay with your husband and take the flight and watch you have to leave and drive all the way there alone. When her "real" friends found out what happened they were mad! Rightfully so. We all know Jill's friend should have felt like "Oh hell naw" I'm going with my friend. In this picture, they're all smiling and okay with it because it's easier for them to pull it off. It's almost like collectively they all didn't mind her being ostracized. A friend would have been like "nah we gonna have to find another pose, we not doing my girl like that." But I do like all the points you made too, we really don't know for sure but that's my opinion.

I agree with the other commentors, who said she looks unhappy. That was the only thing about the photo that really gets to me. Hopefully it was just a photo timing mishap. But how would you feel if the photo was of all of them in running gear, and the friend was in a wheelchair. To me, it feels like they were excluding her. They all easily could’ve done a different pose. OK maybe she was happy and the photo just wasn’t giving happy. Either way she’s still beautiful.❤

The way Im reading it is lady on the ground did not want to take a picture like this, but everyone else did it anyway singling her out. She does look upset. She may need new friends, but she knew thay before she went so we wouldnt be here if she would have just stood on business and cut those heffas loose

It's nothing wrong with this picture. However, it is something wrong with the photographer. The photographer should have put the couples that was standing side by side in the middle of the other four couples since it looks like it was a planned picture. It's all about placement and position. But if that's how they wanted the picture, there is nothing wrong with it.
