She never used this in disdain of anybody. She merely professed it as her reasoning for why she will not censor herself, as her only allegiance is to truth under God. I quite agree.
Lila Rose seems to me as an opportunist who came in defense of Candace attackers because she knows there’s a vacancy at the daily wire. We Christians know that when we’re being attacked we should use scripture against our attackers. To me Candace’s respond to Ben meant that Christ is her Lord and he decides where she goes or where she stays. Aside from all that who ever it offends. Christ is King. Period! End of story. No need to look deeper. This is a message at face value.
I found Allie Beth Stuckey did a good breakdown of why some people took exception to Candice saying, Christ is King. It seems she may have blundered unknowingly and sounded like she was doing a dog whistle that the anti Jew crowd behind Nick Fuentes uses quite often. There is nothing wrong w/ Candice saying it, or how Christians like us say it. There is a movement that will say it and seem to be using it in the wrong way. I wonder if that's what Lila meant?

True, it doesn't make sense. The argument they made is that they are a "publisher," not a "platform," and I get that, but the fact is that they acted against their own stated values and showed their own hypocrisy in the matter.
When it comes to Ben's feelings about Israel and the conflict there, it seems to get so personal for him that he alters his free speech principles. I can understand him not agreeing w/ Candice's stance or lack of taking sides, but to fire her for that doesn't make his platform and free speech stance look too good.

I agree, when you listen to the people who are attacking her they twist what she has said to justify their agenda .In fact some start out saying they never listen to her and then acuse her of things she never said. I have lost respect for Ben ,Dave Ruben and Klavan and others who have done this . I am not a Christian and even I can clearly see she has taken the high ground. @posF-kz7zk my defense of Christ is against those that attack Christ. Anyone calling Christ is King antisemitic is attacking Christ and his followers. I will not stand for this and will speak up in defense of Christians. Christ died for our sins, and I will not stand for anyone who makes attacks against him or his followers. I may have misinterpreted you response, but I am clarifying my position. Christ is King of Kings!
That seemed to be a big part of the problem. She was expected to take the side of Israel. Since Ben is so staunchly pro-Israel and Candice worked for his company, that was expected of her and she woulnd't tow the line.
JESUS Christ is King of Kings. Lord of Lords I am certainly not tip toeing around declaring Christ or denying Him because someone doesn’t like it. This kind of mush faith is why the Church is in trouble these days. Our Father’s fought to save the Jewish people in WWII. My Dad’s unit liberated Dachau and saw the evil being done there. It shaped my childhood, because of what my Dad witnessed there and other places. Those soldiers risking and giving their lives were mostly Christian. This level of disrespect by calling any Christian anti-Semitic is beyond offensive to me. And so is anyone that would water down Christ to appease.

I believe that possibly on both sides there are some things that are unknown in this is let’s just pray for peace. Lila Rose was not trying to attack anybody being that she is RU-vid content, Creator. She most likely knows the things that were said by people that use those words not for the intended purpose. we are so quick to criticize and get angry with out, knowing some of the issues.
Christ is King is not antisemitic, it is a basic statement of faith for all Christians. They shouldn't have fired her for that statement, but she is probably better off without them. I'm not a fan of Candace and I have disagreed with many things she has said in the past, but she has won immense respect from me for standing up for her faith and the Palestinians. She was wrongly fired because she recognized Christ as the Messiah and consistently stated that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.

It's not that she said it. It's the context of who she said it to and when. A Jewish man who is hurting for what happened to fellow Jews. Ben already knows who we know Jesus is. Thought we Christian were to show love to non Christians and be an example of Christ's love? Doesn't seem to be where Candace was coming from. I like her and Ben. Employment disputes are better handled behind closed doors. I agree with Lila Rose.
Candice seemed to want to be loving to both sides and to not take a side. She was expected to side w/ Jews and Israel. it's not that she's against them, as some allege, but she just doesn't want to help fund the wars and she doesn't want to be told she has to take a certain stand or stay silent. I do see Candice's point, and she was proclaiming the basis of her faith and stand.
