Courage of a Lion, Deadly Touch of a Scorpion: Manticore | World of Tanks 

This third game really just highlights how stupid the wheeled vehicle mechanic is. Granted it is a game, but having vehicles that race around at 90kmh and able to spin 180s without flipping, or perform massive jumps without damage, while dodging or bouncing shots, is just idiotic. To have two on one team and not the other is just ensuring a rigged victory

A very difficult tank to play, but I really like it. Many players forget that they also have a gun and should use it. And the biggest nightmare of the Manticore is a enemy player in the EBR 105 driving through the center of the map like a headless chicken, straight to our bush...

Something about this tank makes me a good light tanker. I’m pretty mediocre with lights but with this tank I have a 55% WR over many games. I think it’s because you have to just go and hide and play very carefully and strategically.

That UDES in the second game was so determined not to die to a Manticore that he ran straight into the rest of the team... And I too remember the "Light Tank with Battleship guns!!1!OMG1!" -hyoe that WG was trying to do for this line. Just, why?

One more drawback, it likes to burn. My ultimate spotter config is CVS, bond optics, bounty exhaust, pudding & tea, and camo directive. Sit. awareness, camo skill, and recon. 474 m view range, 55% concealment. I spot the EBR's way before they spot me.

This is starting to become my favourite tank in the game. I have 63% on it while my account total sits at 54%. love this thing but I wish it had more ammo.

Manticore + no gun elevation = limp pee pee

every amx 13 player knows that elevation is as important as depression

In your last game Redshire, it’s very similar to 50% of my games.. low roles, bounces and heavies out spotting you when your in a light. Strange eh?

i saw first battle on stream, it was amazing. some first minutes i thought it was another bad battle ( skill did 3k5 combine with shjtcore last battle) but next minutes were fking blyatiful. That bush is fking very influential.

I don't know how things are in EU or NA, but down here in Asia I can recall seeing maybe four of these things since they were introduced.

They should have an equipment module, "external ammo racks", that adds 6 to your ammo or 8 if it's purple

I mean I got manticore and do quite a bit of damage on average. just have to know when to shoot and when to spot only!

To be fair, the British LT is a good line to learn the art of spotting. It really rewards people for spotting instead of going for damage all the time.

Manti is driving me crazy, can't seem to get the 3rd mark for the life of me. Everything about the tank is average at best so why even give this tank that crappy gun elevation? Isn't the tank already bad enough?

Its missing a unique feature which would would kind of make up for a meh tank. Like the derp on T49. I would really see this tank with a 490 Alpha damage gun ofc with changed gun stats

increasing the alpha damage to 420 like leopard 1 would help it a lot lol

I only play the AMX 13 57 light tank at this point. The arty nerf killed their value as spotters and teams in randoms are unreliable as F. The AMX has the ability to do fun burst damage but the cost of gold amo is so high I never use it but still have 2 MOE on the tanks and enjoy it greatly.

Problem with this tank is the it has only two crews....I mean the whole line has 3 crew tanks up until this tank. Which means you'll end up with one spare crew.

Half of a pirosami first game How I would change this tank: plus 2 gun elevation, and adding 10 shells to the ammunition. However I would change the gun to be a conqueror gun with 440 alpha but around 15 second reload. 440 standard damage with same standard but around 300 apcr pen and 660 damage hesh round with 120 millimeters pen, just to screw over EBR

Great for Clan wars .. it’s a great scout and that’s what scouts are for. If you play the game like an arcade game don’t bother getting it.. it’s a thinking man’s tank.

I might be a bad player... but I never have teammates as good as in this video. Could spot the whole team on a field and random teammates would only give me 2k in spot DMG :-D. Also, sitting in a nice bush with the Manticore, any rocket-speeding EBR driving by 50m away spots + hits me while going 90kmh...

Yeah worst thing wg is doing is when they trying to do a historically correct tanks hmmm how many people knows that Maus was never moving in reality... Same with other paper fantasy tanks... (yes yes 2 Maus were build) Btw at first Manticore was even with lower ammo like 16 if i'm not wrong... Ok i'm not really in mood to talk about bad thinks that's not really looking so bad. Just because of what's happening in real world... I Aced Manticore not long time ago what i don't like about it is that it has only 20 ammo + it has no gun depression and elevation yy you can get some gun depression in the back but... One of the best thing it has besides the cammo that it's almost like ELC EVEN 90... That you can make 360 degree turn in 1 place. p.s. Funny fact i found 1 good bush with it too just in Abbey map...

Obviously, you're a pro player (not an insult, just the fact: you play World of Tanks for a living, it is completely natural that you will be one of the best players), and at your level a lot of the judgement of a tank is player preference. I mean, you can (and frequently do) take any tank into a game and make it work most times even if it takes an effort. Even if the tank is objectively bad, like if I take that tank out with my completely average abilities I will get wrecked no matter what I try to do. All that to say - before you rest your judgement of this tank, check out Guido1212's videos with it. He really likes the tank and for reasons you might appreciate and may not have considered. It can be driven actively and to good effect. I'm not saying you will change your mind. But you might.

It's such a bad tank, and I think only unicums play it. I'm not a great player, but I can 2 mark a lot of tanks. This tank, I struggled to get 1 mark on it.
