How is Benton Tarantella not higher? His backstory is that he and his partner murdered twelve people and wanted to record themselves consuming an old lady alive. It doesn't get darker than this in cartoons.
They were LITERALLY MAKING SNUFF FILMS! (We never see them but considering they recorded the deaths of 12 people and were about to record the violent traumatism of Muriel...) Yeah this show was something else.
I dont think they really ranked it off of evil i think they ranked it based off of the damage that was actually done? To the Bag family i mean, not the 12 people that were murdered
@@potatovert8993 That would still not make the list make sense. Just to give one example, Robot Randy, who is not even evil, only afflicted (not killed) the Bagge family. Yet, he is much higher on the list than Benton.
That’s pretty evil but a crocodile turned them into puppets bro along with hundreds of other people. Also, there were villains that were trying to take over human civilization. So I highly doubt 2 cannibalistic zombies would get placed any higher
Katz was always my favorite Courage villain. Surprised he wasn’t in the top 3 evilest villain tier. I also think that the zombie film directors should have been a lot higher on this list since they are literal snuff film directors. They literally film themselves torturing and murdering their victims, so yeah they are sick and depraved and thus need to be lots higher on this list.
I personally think Fusilly should be top 3, this man literally turned people into living pupets, when they can only act as living human beings when they are controlled. He also has large kill count because we can literaly see that he done this to dozens of people.
Very true! I myself loved Courage as a kid, and now I love horror movies and surrealism like Salvador Dali (don't crucify me if he wasn't technically a surrealist artist haha). Such a fantastic cartoon, they really don't make them like they used to anymore!
I completely expected Katz to be the most evil, he’s completely evil, kills people and feeds people to his evil spiders and he would even kill anyone without remorse
@@mistertagomago7974 although he does have some comedic moments, they don't detract from how Evil he is. in fact in some cases, they just show how evil he is
At least cats gives his opponents a fighting chance. Eustace (at best) is a sore loser. The show DOES put some effort into making other characters meaner in comparison (look at how maw treats him) and a good chunk of his behavior comes from maw, he needs the most help; but good luck convincing him that.
@@charliecomer6001 Cats doesnt give them a fighting chance out of any kindness in him though, it's more something he does for sport possibly with the intention of humiliating them or satisfying his ego.
He shot dogs into space for some sort of space breeding program. He does this to dogs that are unwilling to go. He was even okay with separating a young puppy from his parents. Luckily though, that young puppy was immediately adopted by a kind woman and later came back to stop him for good.
i think both the gold and silver deservs it, but if needing to pick i agree with the channel. specialy considering the gold winner never acctualy got what he deserved because of courage always saving him in the end, and the winner continues to abuse his wife and courage.
In the episode with Mad Dog and Bunny. When he buried her in the plant pot. It was the idea that he "soiled" her. It would fly over kids heads for sure, but adults should be able to connect the dots knowing that she's in an abusive relationship with a low life.
Kitty definitely belonged on this list, as while she has an understandable cause for her hatred of dogs, that in no way justifies her mistreatment of Courage. So while she wasn't the antagonist of the episode, she belongs in the "bad" category under the definition you provided.
You forgot something with Mad Dog: he was the first villain that was so vile, Courage actively chose violence towards him and his friends. He was the only villain that Courage refused to try to help or redeem in any way. Not even Katz got that treatment. Seeing Courage ambush Mad Dog's friends, savagely beat them with a bat, then bury them in the soil pot Bunny had been in was way outside what we'd gotten from Courage so far. Shows that even a cowardly dog has a line where he refuses to run and is just going to beat you.
One villain you forgot to mention is The King of Flan. He uses hypnotism to trick people into obsessively buying his flan, and nearly hypnotised courage in the process. Not the evilest of deeds, but definitely worth mentioning.
Sinner medals: Pride: Di Lung (missing from the list) Wrath: Easily Eustace. Have you sen Hothead? Greed: To avoid repeating Eustace, LeQuack Lust: The Queen of the Black Puddle Envy: The Dr's house from House Calls. The Duckling can also work. Gluttony: King of Flan (missing)
I honestly think that Ma Bagge should've at least also been held accountable for the implied abuse of Eustace when he was a kid,if not being given her own separate spot on the ranking. Also, where's Bushwick aka Shwick from the episode "Courage in the Big Stinkin' City"?
I loved Shwick, "You want to know what made those bones? You don't wanna know what made those bones." The body language was so well animated with Shwick nodding yes for the first part and then shaking his head no for the second.
@@street1008 Doesn't help that Ma is nice to Courage sometimes in a way that feels spiteful, but she just doesn't properly empathize with her son even when he tells her he doesn't feel loved.
What about the evil empress? I really thought she was going to be the gold medal here. I'm not actually sure how evil she was compared to everyone else because it's been a while since I watched, but that episode really stuck with me, probably because Muriel's bones were stolen.
It makes sense that Rameses is the third least evil villain in the show. He's just top notch scary looking. He just wanted his slab back. Eustace was the real villain in that episode. I will say Rameses was one of the most, if not the, powerful villains the Bagg family ever encountered next to the goose god, the storm goddess, and the black puddle witch. He almost drowned the family, almost destroyed their ear drums with his theme song, and completely obliterated their house with his army of locust.
King Ramses truly is a nice guy deep down. If he were in the Monster's Inc universe, he would've saved the entire company by making a huge overstock in children's screams, saving them from being put out of business, he's literally so good at what he does he would become the CEO of Monster's Incorporated lol
Did you know Muriel’s deaf? One scene reinforces this, courage does his usual shtick of charades and then Muriel replies with “oh courage you know I can’t hear you without my glasses”
Lol I think it’s a joke because people who wear glasses like myself if I’m not wearing them it feels like I can’t hear at times either 😂 Caleb city has a RU-vid video on this
@@kuda6578 nah it’s legit. She says that because she can’t read lips as well if she isnt wearing her glasses, but when she is wearing them she can understand what someone’s trying to say to her
Honestly I half expected the Vet and Eustace's medals to be the other way around *because* of those few times where Eustace genuinely has a "good guy" moment. But then again, I can see why you went with the picks you did.
There’s lots of villains that should be on the list that need to be discussed like The Weremole, The Harvest Moon Spirit, The King of Flan, The Sand Whale, Mustafa Al Bacterius, Di Lung and his family, The Undead Vandals, the Chickens from Outer Space, Schwick, the Sapient Bananas, the Carnivorous Vegetables, and other villains!
Especially Di Lung. Whether it's being inconsiderate to others saying "Watch where you're going, ya fool!" or actually performing acts of evil like de-boning Muriel, Di Lung is absolutely a character who has reoccurred and did enough to be on any list of Courage villains. I didn't even understand why Mecha Courage was considered a villain whenever it was Di Lung who created it for the sole purpose of making Courage feel inferior.
I think the reason Mad Dog buried Bunny in a flower pot was symbolism for deflowering. Depending on context, "deflower" can mean rape, which is implied what Mad Dog does to Bunny if you read it like that.
I'm suprised the Fantasy Flan guy isn't on this list. He literally brainwashed the entire population of Nowhere to get hooked on his product. That's lower evil tier for this list, because he knew exactly what he was doing and what it could cause, but he did it anyway for his own material gains.
So I’ve never actually watched Courage The Cowardly Dog before, but this video makes me want to! Great job on the video/editing/ranking as usual, wickedbinge!
I feel that Robot Randy should be lower, he was pressured by his peers to conquer Earth, he doesn’t want to destroy things and his reindeer hobby shows he has a sweet side to him. Dr Le Quack, Katz, Fusilli and maybe Benton Tarantella should probably be higher. Le Quack, depending on how much he stole from other victims even though it is never confirmed could be millions or billions in damages, also Le Quack did try to kill Muriel when she got him all of the Swedish money from the giant piggy bank in the episode Le Quack Balloon. Benton Tarantella and his partner Errol von Volkheim have been confirmed to have killed 12 people before they died and revived as zombies. Katz though it is unknown how many people he killed in his businesses, he did feed guests to spiders, turned people into candy, had people fight to the death in his arena, and probably exploded many submarines while he escaped. Fusilli turned many people into puppets and except for Muriel and Eustace, the other people remained as lifeless marionettes. I agree with the other listings of the other people though.
@@frozenfiredarknight3764 they did but im more happy if the evil vet guy gets even worse consiquences not just send to a planet with courage's parents and other dogs maybe get him something even worse like death though my head canon the dogs already punished him for what he did and hes already a goner
This cartoon, as awesome as it is, would most definitely not be G-rated if made today. But it's still awesome, better than most cartoon network shows today
The Perfectionist may actually be just a hallucination, a pyramid head style representation of self-criticism. But it is still a great metaphor of anxiety with the sole exception that it's destroyed in the end. Anxiety can be impossible for many people to completely live without, but the message is still well intended; do your best to remember perfection is hypothetical. Just play to your strenghts and do your best to be good.

Eustace is more evil than every villain combined in my opinion and he def deserved that golden metal. His sin of unbeatable greed, suppression of rage and making every day of Courage's life a living a hell. He done things that makes me gasp till my jaws break. One particular evil deed this satan's assailant is the fact that he gathered a bunch of villains to jump Courage over a damn blanket? A damn blanket?! Just because of a blanket he had Courage jumped. Eustace makes my blood boil more than any other character and his dreadful backstory does not one bit excuse his malicious attitude and extreme unreasonable hate towards courage. That dude is old age evil to the core...
It is a cartoon, but the only logical excuses I see on Eustace, is that the place he lives in, is a land filled with hell monsters with little to no police to save them. So in a real world scenario people living there, would be more likely to become over selfish and close minded like Eustace than over generous and open like Muriel.
I don't think Randy the Robot should be that high. He didn't want to take over and destroy things, in the beginning of the episode he deliberately missed destroying an entire planet while everyone else made fun of him for missing, and was mostly acting like that because he was exiled from his home until he could conquer a world. I'd put him around the Snowman honestly.
I don't know if you can really call Freaky Fred evil, he's just insane. Plus, all he does is shave people bald. Weird and annoying, but not exactly murder.

I can make the argument that maw raised Eustace into what he is (this putting her higher on thelist), and that cats is the most recurring villain (therefore easily taking top 3), you guys are pretty accurate. The only REAL surprise is how the Eustace and Muriel aren't divorced.

i included Benton in my second fictional serial killers top ten list. plus not only was he a serial killer but a snuff film director similar to real Russian serial killer, Anatoly Slivko who would film his victims as they suffocated from being hanged. if he couldn't resuscitate them then he would dismembered them and burn the pieces to relive a moment where someone was ran over by a car that crashed burst to flames. also he was the leader of the Young Pioneers, the USSR's version of the Boy Scouts.
Eh the Duck Brothers weren't evil, just desperate and didn't realize asking for assistance in rescuing their missing brother was an option. ^^; Tho I do wonder why the evil Space Chicken wasn't mentioned

Surprised Di Lung didn’t make it to the list at all. He was both evil and very memorable. His aunt, the Evil Empress should’ve been pretty high up on the list as well. I like the choices for the top two because of how poignant and personal they are, but she’s arguably more evil than Mad Dog.
As a kid watching these in my childhood, I neither understood most of the villain's motives nor why they are tormenting the Bagge family. Now that im watching this, I now understand them.

Fun fact: Eustace was loosely modeled after an unpleasant farmer that the creator worked for as a farmhand as a teen. I wonder how he'd react if he found out he was Eustace's inspiration.

well it wasn’t all for nothing that Veterinarian getting sent to space means that he can never do that to another dog ever again also I wasn’t expecting that guy to be the most evil I just saw him as a grump I would have had that vet as the most evil especially since he the first enemy Courage ever makes

Pokemon Anime Rivals: Good to Most Good. P.S. This does *NOT* mean how good they are in battles. This is more on their personality, and how good or bad they are to others, both people and Pokemon. So it'd be like going from the least good rivals ( Trip, Paul, Harley, Ursula, etc ) to the most good rivals ( Zoey, Nando, Drew, Alain, etc ).
to be honest, I felt bad for Eustace when I saw his unfortunate pasts for the first time, of course he is evil, but if he had a good parents, he would probably become into a good guy just like his lovely wife. and I kindda believe there is a still good side of his heart. wickedbinge, could you do the ninjago villains evil to the most evil list for the next time? please????? 1:58 I remember when that episode first came out. I don't remember being scared. I do remember how fascinated I was about how similar it resembled two Moses-themed films I previously watched (one of them clearly being Prince of Egypt). It was also clear to me that the music for Ramses' appearance closely resembled the music from the other Moses film.
Here’s a great idea for a good to evil video or I guess in what I’m about to suggest, bad to most bad: The Suicide Squad Characters Good/Bad to Evil/Most Bad (can either be just James Gunn’s movie or both movies)
