Court in Eswatini postpones case of suspects in AKA, Tibz murders - Dr Curlewis

The Manzini Magistrate's Court in Eswatini has postponed the case of two men implicated in the murder of rapper Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and his friend, renowned chef - Tebello "Tibs' Motsoane to next week Tuesday.
The matter has been postponed pending the lodging of a formal extradition application.
Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande have been remanded in custody.
Police say they found four cell phones in possession of the accused.
SABC News Reporter Nhlanhla Jele has more from Manzini.

Nandipha and Bester were extradited in a twinkle of an eye. What is different here that it could take a long time when mzansi and eswatini are just neighbors. This is absurd.

Nandipha and Bester were not Extradited but were Depoted immediately upon being captured. In this case I don't know what the NPA applied for their extradition instead of requesting for a deportation of the suspects

@@Bhubesi fair, maybe then mzansi should take the route of deportation for eswatini to employ than delay justice through a lengthy process of extradition.

@@gideonmthembu8693 if you listen to the Suspect's lawyer he says the SA NPA hasn't completed the full application of extradition paperwork which are going to be sent to him so He can take further advise from his clients.. Meaning SA is dragging their feet on this issue... Letting down the efforts of the Police and disappointing the general public. Mkhwananzi worked very well on this, and I've got a feeling someone close is sabotaging him. Remember the Minister is a very close friend to Tembe family and the Minister does not like someone out shining him like Mkhwananzi is doing

One can only show remorse when they actually have done the crime not because they are accused of a certain crime. Remember you are innocent until proven guilty.

Those phones must be kept securely they might be some leads in them since they(suspects)were caught unexpectedly meaning they didnt have time to delete the recent calls and chats with their co accused.

Mr Curlewis is correct on everything except for the part that he sees no reason for the court to deny the extradition.This is about customary international law and the magistrate has to consider the counter offer by the accused party.This case is moot.

He certainly doesn't look like the guy who actually pulled the trigger, everyone is guessing here. Some say the shooter is among the guys that are in Durban. The state unfortunately would have show us the alleged shooter if indeed they have the right people, relax and let the law take its cause.
