@@DavidBluetileIt’s funny SPARKY in the Netherlands got the Chicago J pack restock in November. My wife was there on business and wasn’t able to make it there in time 🤷♂️ Hopefully we see them again in the US 👍🏼✌🏼
About restock and whatnot. You relay the voice of the costumer to Nike. Please let them know that dunk sb are used for skating and skate shoes in particular really take a beating, so getting restocks of the GRs are necessary. Nike can do it, and costumers want it. As a retailer I would prefer things sell out because if supply is greater than demand people just move on. Things sitting on shelves is a bad look! there is always the Air Max Ishod or blazers! tons of sick shoes. that said .... nike sb is making more dunks per color way than sole tech is making of every shoe in a whole season combined.
I don’t have the originals but I do have the green ones that dropped and the leather on those are so nice. I got these this past weekend and they definitely feel worse than the original greens
@@thujeyb8 I remember that happening with something else back in the day… white pebble on one and smooth on the other. I can’t remember which pair that was but a lot of them were recalled. This was years ago
Idc that the value dropped I just really wanted them especially as casual shoes I can use for skateboarding once in a while that I don’t need to change with. The shoes are beautiful
Oh not stressing it. Just explaining. If I don’t explain they’ll continue to think whatever they think was a better way to release them but I just don’t see a more fair way to do it.
Just picked mine up a couple of hours ago from the shop. I will say I immediately noticed the difference in leather quality compared to my pine green j pack I got about 2 years ago. It’s softer and more forgiving they do run a little tight but thin socks will help that.

That’s such a fantasy. Like if I don’t tell anyone nobody will see them. If we do that the first reseller that comes in sounds the alarm and they’re gone instantly. Everyone needs to remember that the job of resellers is literally chasing shoes. They’re gonna find em before anyone else. I understand the sentiment but they’re not just going to sit there like any average skate shoe. I hope that makes sense.
Not that big of a difference but imo the OGs in hand feel softer and less ridged than the 2024. Just in my opinion. I do have both in hand. Hope that helps. Wish they came with purple laces
My store had FCFS for these, showed up an hr early like I did for the purple suede pair but there was a lot more people in line by that time, and it was freezing that day so I left
Need to know? Tts? Half size down? Half size up?? Wouldnt half size up make the shoe longer so meaning more toe space and will end up fitting loose? Like heel slip?
A lot of people who wear regular dunks go up a half size in SB dunks. That’s not everyone. It really depends on your foot size so the TTS is such a myth people chase. You really gotta try em on. I go up a half size. I do have polls on the community section of this channel where people vote on how it fits them. That’s the best measure I can give is by asking the community and having everyone vote. If you already have SB dunks stick to the size you normally get. If you asked this question but didn’t watch the video watch the video. A lot of times I’ll talk about the fit particularly to me.
@@DavidBluetile i watched it. However. I have also watched many other videos in relation to sb dunks. I always get. 2 answers. Never the one. Half ppl say size up… half say tts… Im stuck
If you scroll through the posts on the community section of this channel you’ll see a poll for how these fit. Feet are so different it’s really hard to dial in how something fits but alas this is the most asked question. I’ve literally had people tell me they’ve had to go down in size in shoes I had to go up in size so It really depends on your foot. So the poll clears that up across a cross section of humans. But I’ll say… the gnar hunters are the tightest fitting dunks I have and the Yuto fit me very comfortably. This one is between that.

My favorite thing about when i got these is immediately puttiing them on and doing a tre flip in them in front of all the sneaker resellers in line outside the store and them doing this face 😱

We’re in South Carolina but we aren’t an online partner with Nike so all of our releases are local. Sometimes I have shock drops for any pairs not picked up on my Instagram broadcast channels

Any idea why the size run is so limited on these at skate shops? Snkrs release is gonna be a shit show. I’m passing on these unless there is a miracle and you got my size left over.
I kinda talk about the covid debacle and why these are restocking in my opinion. there are a ton of reasons that I can't really get into but essentially you're allowed x amount of dunks per season and you have to split those numbers across each color way. I ordered less in the restock so I could get more in some of the other dunks.
Well I looked at it today and I think it was 7/24/23? But I didn’t make note of it so there is no way im right! Haha and now I’m packing to go to Tampa and won’t be back in the shop until Monday. This is a whole size run though.
