If you have courthouse wedding is you wedding is when you really married church wedding is not a married is blessed you civil wedding because you not single you are married person already you already husband or wife and the government not recognized you church wedding because you not really married in the church. Married in the church is when the priest signed the courthouse married license is the priest doesn't sign the marriage license them is not married the name is convalidation convalidation is a ceremony in the church when people are already married outside the church because you married in the courthouse you not married in the church.

Here's a question! Are there venues that let couples have just a ceremony without also having a reception? I'm finding a lot of information about packages that include both a ceremony and reception, but not much about only one or the other.

Yes you can have the ceremony in beach ,park ,or home backyard without reception.
