It's one of many things that makes her so unique compared to many of today's singers. As you've read from these comments, Courtz is only turning 17 today and we all look forward to seeing her continued development through the years. @@carls2381 Hey Carl, yes, she and her family seem to be well-grounded and head firmly on shoulders. So, although there are never any guarantees and anyone can take a wrong turn, the Hadwin's seem to have increased Courtney's chance of success, both in music and with her life, by keeping her, and her siblings, as down to earth as possible. Praying it all turns out well for Courtz and the fam.
@@carls2381 I've certainly taken my share of wrong turns. And, yes, I've also sometimes communicated the wrong thing at the wrong time. I just always hope I can learn from my mistakes and help me become a better person. It encapsulates everything that I think is best about Courtney; her magnificent voice, her phrasing, her use of dynamics, the way she “sculpts” a song. She truly is unique. Hi BM. As Curtis said, Courtney turns 17 on the 6th. You’ll notice it if you pop into Super Fans. It’s been such a great journey over the last 3+ years from that incredible 13 year old young girl who walked on the stage of AGT to the amazing young lady she has grown into. The one thing that has remained a constant is what a truly genuine, likable, down to earth person she has remained. So many things about this song to point out. It is by Jadebird music and the original is quite good, but give me Courtney’s version any day. This is one of Courtney’s earliest songs she put together and released from her small attic studio that she put together to be able to remain productive during lock down. It was also one of the earliest songs she accompanied herself on guitar. As far as I’m concerned, Courtney has been the artist of a lifetime for quite a while now, but she just continues to grow her skill set and broaden that gap between her and everyone else in music trying to play catch up.

@@BeardedReactions Don't think so. That's an idiom that crosses languages, and, besides, Courtney's singing voice has little discernible accent. Usually Courtney is very deliberate in what she does with a song; maybe she thought it should be no instead of yes?
When Courtney looks into the camera she grabs your attention immediately. She has a way of making you feel like she's singing to you alone. And that is another one of her god given talents. That's what entertaining people is all about. This song is a great song because of how it gets you wanting to jump up and down with her when she goes full out rock mode. The original by Jade bird has also got that same full onslaught rock mode going on. If you haven't listened to it, it worth giving a listen for sure.
