Hi Chip and Gypsy Boy! I am saddened to see the Lavender didn't perform under the Figs, but glad to know you are reusing them. Thanks for the update, boys! Have a good week ahead. Kindest Regards - Don

Hi Don 🤠 thanks you for your message .. I’m saddened also but it’s for the best, and now I know this spot is not as sunny as I first thought I can plant accordingly and maybe plant something I can enjoy though the winter months too 🌱 .. all good ! Thanks again and you also have a wonderful week and all the very best 🌱 Chip

Right. Good thing I haven't found baby lavender for my lonely potted fig yet, as it's still winter here in South Africa! Will be waiting for your recommendation in next week's vlog, then! ❤ from your #1 South African fan 🇿🇦

Giggles 🤭 Well you could try them they might be perfect for your spot I just don’t think my pots were getting enough sun for Lavender .. I’m going to try maybe part shade loving plants and maybe I will have better luck with them 👍🏼 all the best and have a wonderful week in South Africa 🌱 Chip

I grow lavender here in the high Mohave desert in Arizona. Maybe too much water sometimes stresses them they are an arid Mediterranean bush that mostly desires hot and dry conditions. I'm sure wherever you place them they should thrive. Gipsy easy on the water mate. Cheers Chip, great video it goes great while I'm enjoying a cuppa.

the lavender were probably never going to make it in the moist courtyard, they do well in their own pots (large) in the sun though. You probably already know this but when planting lavenders you get much better result if you chop all the flowers off right at planting, it's heart breaking but you get such better growth after... I moved my chocolate chips ajuga to the shade to see if it will perform better. When I took it out I managed to get 20 plants out of the original six pack. They are quite small of course.

Hi there 🤠 I think I just never gave them a chance to be honest.. giggle 🤭 I have other ideas and like you said as they need to be cut back I don’t want to have to look at the sadness of it though late summer and into autumn so I’m going to plant something that I can enjoy throughout the summer into winter… hope your chocolate chip is a success I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞 all the best and thank you for your advice and thoughts .. very much appreciated 🌱 Chip

Hi, wouldn’t putting a plastic pot around make the plant root bound ?
@ChipsGreenWorld
@ChipsGreenWorld Месяц назад
Hi SR 🤠 thanks for your interest and question.. no is the answer as it will just direct the roots downward towards the ground and the main metal pot has had the bottom cut away so the roots can grow free 👍🏼 all the very best and have a wonderful day 🌱 Chip
