Thank you so much Rabbi Steve, you are a great leader. You have helped me come out of the confusion on things I thought I knew. I am going to be learning from you for the rest of my life. I will watch and listen to all your teachings, to become Israel. I want to be in a forever community and would love to move to TN and be with a community to help me grow in areas I cant see and areas I struggle in.

I stumbled upon this quite by accident, but I am glad I did! ... I was raised Baptist, though now I am non-denom, and I DO get what he's talking about with trying to understand other Christian denominations. I have a Lutheran friend and even though we are both technically Christian, our ways of worship are as different as night and day. lol

What I have learned has definitely caused a paradigm shift, but mostly in a good way because this teaching unifies a lot of the "gaps" I have asked Yeshua to answer in my Bible studies.

Thank you Steve Berkson I get what you are trying to say. I was brought up as a Christian from a Lutheran who later became a pentecostal and have been a messianic since 2015 after discovering my Jewish roots on my mom side of the family.

WOW WOW WOW.. I cannot believe how much every teaching I listen to speaks right to me! A paradigm shift... that is EXACTLY the phrase I have been looking for! I literally had a full scale panic attack upon listening to the false prophet teaching where, at the end, he says jesus is the antichrist. I couldn't write rabbi off because the way I was led to him was completly orchestrated by God and I knew it. I stood in my room hyperventalating and crying uncontrollably, tears running down my face as I looked at my vast collection of Christian literature.. my bible which had been my one and only source of peace and comfort... was it the wrong translation?? Did it all have to go??? I couldn't breathe... in my head kept repeating "what's true.. what's real.. what's true.. what's real.. it's all been a lie.. what's true????" Then I clearly heard " they have been preaching you another jesus" 😱. While out of my mouth, choking on my words, literally shaking uncontrollably and unable to catch my breath were the words " I dont wanna give up my jesus". What I really meant was I dont wanna give up my source of peace and comfort, this is all I know, hes my life.. without him all is vanity!! I knew I had to get out of the house cuz it literally felt like I was standing on my head. Like I was upside down .. the atmosphere felt strange and I obviously wasnt coping very well. I needed a change in scenery to snap my self outta this. So I leave to go to my fiancee's house cuz hes my rock here in this life.. my checks and balances system so to speak. I got in the car looking forward to turning on my worship music and just focusing on Him as I always do when I'm driving, but when I turned it on and the words were " there is no other name.. the name of jesus" i literally started whaling. I have never "whailed" before lol. But here I was crying so hard I couldn't see and had to pull off the road. Do I have to give up my music also?? I can't do that!! Its my refuge!! It helps me get in that spot of complete focus on God. Once again my head was saying what's true.. what's true.. what's true? By the time I got to his house my brain had pretty much shut off. No thoughts.. nothing.. complete silence in my head. I was broken. When he opened the door he looked at me completely shocked as I'm standing there at 6am, eyes puffy and completely despondent. He had to usher me in as I was just standing there staring right thru him. I couldn't talk. There were no words. He later said his first impression was that someone had died and in reality he was pretty much right. The jesus I knew had died. The one that teaches unmerited grace and that the law has been done away with. I never really understood grace or why one would claim ABBA father but not follow his laws and traditions. Why are we eating pork and celebrating Easter and Christmas. And for the love of all thats good.. why why why is always about jesus?? What about the father ??so many questions for so long. Thank you ABBA, for drawing me to the truth right from the beginning, without me even asking. It wasnt until a literal desperate crying prayer asking for truth that I ended up here. And to you rabbi.. thank you for being the man of God that you are. This series is where my fiancee and I are at. I feel like these 75 teachings are the rebuilding of my foundation. Just bought a cepher bible and next will be the scriptures. Anyone know what other books will aid in my studies?? I'm a reader/researcher. .I have many translations of the bible.. commentaries, concordance and dictionaries. But they are all from the christian viewpoint which I almost abhor now. I read.. it's what i do. Sermons or should i now say teachings.. and books. So anything that can be recommended for my new journey would be appreciated. Good luck everyone.. lol. I dont know about u but I'm super pumped for what lies ahead!! I'm not worried or scared... that's behind me now. Looking forward to the fullness of my lord. The real him revealed, not the masquerading fraud of christianity. Draw them to you father .. please.. all those what genuinly love you but are living in deception 😔🙏🙏🙏

Fabulous Teaching. So solid with lots of meat. It has really established my foundation of the things I have learned since coming into this walk 7 years ago. You hear so many things. You read scripture and you know it says a specific statement but one wonders is it relevant today, re circumcision for one thing. I am learning the importance to go back to the first reference. So in this case of circumcision I see it still stands, although that's not what I was taught before coming into Torah. Ty Rabbi Steve, Yah Bless and keep you in Messiah Yeshua. I have enjoyed all the videos connected to this series so when is part three coming out :)

Thank You for this series. I haven't watched enough to determine if you are Trinitarian which many Messianic Groups are. I hope not. I only watched Divorce, Remarriage &Putting Away and want to learn more of what you teach.

We are not trinitarian, no. We recommend Rabbi Steve's "Do You Know the Father and the Son?" series and the "Understanding the Ruach" series for more information.

One of the things I'm dealing with right now after recently leaving my church that I attended and led worship at for 8 years is this...the people close to me cannot understand why I didn't seek counsel from the people within the church community itself and the pastor before choosing to leave. To me it's clear that I simply could not seek counsel from them because I knew in my heart that leaving was the right decision and they wouldn't have understood because they are coming from a completely different perspective. Is there a way that I can answer and explain that to them in a respectful way? I'm just not coming up with the right words on this one. Which is causing them to think that I was just being foolish and unwise.

Shalom Rebecca, were you able to connect with Rabbi Steve or Robert? We saw you on the live stream chat today - great to have you for Shabbat services. We would definitely recommend praying and asking for the Ruach to give you the right words.

@@mtoi I spoke a little to Robert and he was very helpful with helping me make the right decision about leaving. Things are really tough right now. I am trying to stay strong but have very little support or community. People in my life think I made a very foolish decision and think I'm going to destroy my family. I am going to do my best to keep tuning in to services and I listen to teachings daily.

I believe in your teachings so far but am a bit confused on when the sabbath begins, because I have followed or at least watched some of the teachings of the zadock ways, and thier ancient priesthood, and tend to believe that the day begins with the sunrise, do you have any insight into this. And how can I find a community of these teachings in my area which at the moment is homeless in central illinois? Any response would be wonderful. I am not very good at social media, ect.. kind of old fashioned so to speak, thank you and God Bless.
@mtoi
@mtoi 4 года назад
Shalom! We find so much confusion out there as we search and listen to so many people ("teachers") that have opinions on what they feel the right thing to do is based on some research. But this is why it is our responsibility to vet out an anointed appointed teacher and study under them. There should be no confusion if the vertical structure is followed. As for the Shabbat question is concerned... Ive heard Rabbi mention (which was very insightful) that we can all agree that Yeshua kept Shabbat with the Jews as shown in scripture. And Yeshua never corrected them on how they kept the Shabbat. So unless someone can prove that in the last 2000 years, the Jewish people managed to change Shabbat from evening to evening into morning to morning... Rabbi has full confidence in keeping it the way our brother Judah has for thousands of years. I hope this helps!
