I didn't know this is a fan cover for 8 years. Beautiful as space horror hell!

This sounds so genuine that I thought a few years ago that it was an official song! It is truly amazing !

matts knows that arpeggios are really powerful and i am glad cause you can make epic songs with them

hearing this again gives me chills down my spine and a small portion of the feelings I had six weeks ago at the muse concert i went to

@TheSllabster so true! and those huge towers started to glow, and there's been SUCH a tension! even though i had a seat i couldn't sit at all, even though everybody remained steated...i couldn't resist, i must have been about the first who actually got up! with that song!

Holy crap, a DVD of this tour would be INCREDIBLE. The graphics on Exogenesis...seriously, wow. And I love, love this intro.

They must release a DVD of this tour. The intro is hauntingly amazing. We saw them last night in Atlanta. Even got the set list from the sound tech (we were standing right next to those guys on the floor). Fantastic show! They rock H A R D!

This intro was just fantistic, I saw them in Lisbon and it felt my heart was going to explode and you get that overwhelming sensation, like, "damn it's starting, oh snap!"

i was fuckin shaking in the knees when i went to see them the first time while i was waiting outside the arena... that was outside in broad daylight hours before even the openers would play... this song just bent me over and took my childhood innocence away from me.

Damn you studio machine :'( It could have been perfect if it hadn't screwed things up. Anyway it's still amazing and I listen to it non-stop in my mp3. Even though I can't help wincing every time the robotic woman speaks ;) Seriously, it's the best cover on youtube, thanks a lot for uploading.

This intro is so magnificent at getting people in the mood for the concert. :D Even alone it's just.... epic. My first Muse concert was relatively recent, the Oakland one April 14th (WOO!) and I hadn't heard this before that, so it came as a surprise to me. I remember just getting the chills and being mystified by the visuals of the silhouettes on the towers, falling.... I'm going to see them again this September in Sacramento, the 28th. I cannot wait. :D WOO MUSE!!!

YES! When I saw Watchmen for the first time, all I could think about was Muse and Take a Bow!

@Myworld1916 they wrote this specifically for the tour. it's not on the album yet. knowing muse, though, it should be on the next edition of this album after the tour is over.

the chords are just sampled from uprising, works so well though, especially before uprising!

@manco82 From about 1:40 onwards, there's a slowed down version of the Uprising synth. The arpeggios also match the melody of the guitar during the verses and choruses.

I hear the same thing, and considering that during the opening of their Resistance tour, this song was followed by Uprising, it makes sense.

Anyone else hear this and think how watchmen was almost written around MUSe and their music? lol, i mean, I have been a fan of muse since i can remember, and watchmen is my fav book and movie, and now, the two fit together so well :D

Well a music major is a person who's profession is music or the career he or her wants to do. Anyway, I think that's great that you have that ability to listen and play the song just by listening. That's what I want to be a musician and make music like muse, have you ever try to make a band? I think you would do really well.

Mostly because I'm going with someone else who doesn't want GA, so the next time I go to a concert of theirs I probably will. :D Which song at the Oakland concert was your favorite performance? I personally LOVED Starlight, United States of Eurasia and New Born. Those were epic performances. :D I cannot wait to see them again. :D

Omg when I hear this, my heart start beating 10 times faster and it feels like three towers of rock gods will appear from nowhere, right in front of me, any moment now. Almost just like being there the night of the concert

I was there when Muse started their Resistance tour at Helsinki. On the second row, in the middle, I stood quietly when this intro began like an approaching thunderstorm. 12 000 people started to make noise at the same time. I can remember myself standing transfixed listening and after many days I was still able to hear it in my head. Yes, this is God's theme song.

Wow I've been looking for this for ages! You're great. There's just one thing, you said you got the vocal samples from dmorgantube, but I noticed you speeded them up, especially in the " ... itself" parts; hence my suggestion that THE perfect studio version would be your instrumental cover + the original dmorgantube's vocal samples, a bit more high-pitched though. If you still have the separate tracks in your computer, could you PLEASE try that? Thanks beforehand :)
