Am I the only one that found her voice incredibly annoying? Like she can hold a note yeah but over all there’s something really off. Plus if your going to scream and squeal while singing you really have to make sure you don’t sound whiny other wise like her you doing like a toddler having a tantrum
60% of the comments say when he came through. Lol. We get it. He's hot. With a hot voice. But seriously I think the most credit should go to the unity of the diverse cultures when they all sing together. That gave me chills. xx #ProudPolynesian
Who would ever have thought this would be possible at a university in South Auckland. I am so proud to be both Māori and Pacific when I hear the voices of our mokopuna at AUT. Walter Fraser and Pare Keiha our Rangatira and leaders of change Ngā mihinui korua! Mauri ora
everyones talking about how amazing the guy sang, like dont get me wrong ooooffff he was greattttt but can we take a second to appreciate the girls beautiful voice and how unbelievable those high notes were
Your people should be so proud of you. I am. Yorta Yorta Aboriginal woman in Australia it is wonderful to see so many beautiful young generations proud of the Culture. It’s a shame our country couldn’t get behind our young generation as your people and country come together. My daughter and her partner who is a Cook Islander are going to have there first child and I am so proud to have my 1st grandchild who has two amazing cultures coming together and embrace it. Fantastic and amazing choir.
On behalf of us across the water we love and appreciate our Aboriginal siblings. We stand with you like we stand with all indeginous people. Congratulations on your moko (Grandchild). must be around2 years old now and i hope you receive many more blessings. One day we will all be united in peace and harmony and thats the future i work towards providing all races...
Yorta Yorta, Cook Island, Māori … there is one race on earth … the human race … we are one family sister … the ocean doesn’t disconnect us - it unites us the children of the lone planet of water as a 75% water species in the cosmos … From the Dream Time of your AnCeStars to the Haka of mine one love sister … Arohanui!!!
at a moment in my life that is difficult - one that has me questioning the very reason I am still here and navigating my way through the fog that clouds the way forward, I came across this by accident. Watching this helps me to remember that life really is worth living.
They both did amazing y'all out here praising the guy and thats fine but dont you think the girl did amazing aswell? All in all that high note she hit at the end pluss all the adlips she added were amazing they both sang amazingly❤ #proudislandvibes
This cover is the first to bring tears to my eyes since hearing Keala Settle sing it for the first time. How did I miss it for 4 years?! Such young students to really understand what the song's about.
Kia ora, this was just amazing. I was once an exchange student at AUT south campus and this video just made me miss the maori and kiwi mentality and all the people there so much! Wonderful video!
Wow this is amazing, I can see why Hugh Jackman loved this. Both lead singers got beautiful voices but that boys voice is exceptional, silky smooth tone. AUT don't stop there, we need more singing from you, I can see yous on big stages like the Auckland Coca-Cola xmas in the park or a choir behind Stan Walker etc.
This is the best cover of this song I've heard and seen so far! You're all so beautiful and I can feel the love and positive attitude here + beautiful voices ❤️
I have noticed, New Zealand can never get old.... I constantly discover new zeal for the land. 🇳🇿 I am Hillary from Ghana 🇬🇭 and I am coming to AUT in 2023, who wants to be a friend?
Awww love you Laise & Ami! ❤️ Yall killledd it!!! But all these comments though asking for his name & stuff😂👀 To all those girls, my aunty says ami is not allowed a gf til he's 50😂😂😂

I hope u all acheived the Goals you had at that moment in time .. so Proud of you all despite not knowing you ... you are all 'The GREATEST'!
Love this video. Love seeing my Maori/Polynesian brothers and sisters coming together. This song is such a beautiful example of our people becoming one ❤️ #thisisme
Amazing! You guys made me tear up a little, I love seeing Pacific Islander youth in postive and empowering places. Your group should cover some other songs too!
Its always a beautiful sight to see, when people (especially younglings) come together in Unity to encourage and inspire one another. Its an amazing sight indeed.
What a beautiful display of strength in community. What a great pleasure to see so many different cultures come together. Music is a powerful tool in South Auckland and it is so inspiring to see it being used in such a positive way. Great voices, super great smiles, heart warming unity. Thank each and every one of you there. 👍😎😊
