I didn't seem to make sense to make a exact copy of this great song - so I decided to give it a Synthwave feel and have a go at it with almost all synths I own. And inspired by a request by ‪@educouchez6709‬ I have added some Rhodes solo's

Pure bliss. I've always loved how Vangelis managed to sneak in some blues into one of the most amazing soundtracks ever, knows for its synths.

I have wanted for years and years to ask a keyboard player this question. How do you manage to play using both hands? Specifically how can you do two different things with each hand? We all do tasks with both hands, but to accurately strike the keys and make the melody with both hands playing different things amazes me. That has had me mystified for as long as I can remember. The best example is Keith Emerson on the video for Fanfare for the Common Man. For the entire song he is playing a background handful of notes (I don't know the terminology) with his left hand and with his right, he's playing the rest of the music. And I really like this cover too!

I have a great Tech guy. But I have to say that I haven't had any issues with the JP, CS, Mini and OB8 for the last 2 years. Maybe I am just lucky. It helps that they are safely held in my studio and don't go on the road.

Hi, what’s the signal chain for the cp70 and Rhodes?

Rhodes Suitcase into UA Apollo with Neve 1073 pre amp and Studer A100 - both simply in default settings (just to add some warmth) Into Logic - default Stock compressor, also just default and than UA Lexicon 224 for Reverb. Suitcase already sounds perfect by itself. CP70: API Vision Channel strip - ADA Flanger - into Logic - and also Lexicon Reverb

@@josesvintagekeys I’m very impressed with the playing but the production as well. I also own a cp70, however I had mine modded to bypass the preamp, and although it sounds much more clearer and overall better it needs another preamp to record with as it’s functioning as an electric guitar now. Do you have instagram by any chance ?
