A: Melissa is my first name and Joyce is my middle name - so yes!
Q: What qualifications do you have to review makeup and skincare?
A: Nothing formal but I've started to learn more about makeup and skincare over the last five years. I consider myself an amateur but an enthusiast and my reviews will help a non make-up artist see how a product might work for them.
Q: What is your real job?
A: I’m currently working in accounting.
Q: What kind of skin concerns do you have?
A: My skin is combination where my T-zone gets oily. I have pores I would like to minimize and some skin redness. I’m also in my early 40s so wrinkles and anti-ageing is a concern. Oh and I do get break-outs from time to time. So I have a bit of everything!

I recently picked this foundation up again. I remember using it a few years back, but never thought it was anything special. I have seen a few videos on this foundation recently, so I gave it another try. I am 42 as well and wear the classic ivory shade. I actually am pretty pleased with it overall and find myself reaching for it quite often. I got mine at Walmart in the states for 12.97, which is much less than my favorite It Cosmetics Cc cream for 39 dollars. Maybe my skin changed and the Cover Girl one works now. I will probably repurchase after I use this one up. Great video! I hope more people give this foundation a try!

Oli of Olay was my 1st moisturize. My skin is older, so SPF is important. The price??

Was reminiscing about the old Maybelline Dream formula cream foundation - they still have the same line as liquid and mousse, but I remember loving the cream one like ten years ago and it seems to be gone. There don't seem to be all that many drugstore cream foundations these days! Thought I'd check this one out and found your review. Thank you for the thorough video! That last comment about the hygiene factor of a cream foundation made me wonder if that is why most seem to have fallen to the wayside. Maybe I'll stick with my liquid foundation for a while still 😊

I think foundation goes through trends and I feel like the liquids tend to be lighter-weight. I like this foundation but I tend to prefer a liquid.

Did you use a concealer or just use this under your eyes? Did you set under your eyes? I’m gonna try this with Thrive blurring primer. Mature skin here and worried about it setting into fine lines under the eyes 👀
