I watched Sals videos when I did my first bathroom remodel years ago. I have seen your videos on tiktok and didnt realize you had a youtube channel. Like that your messy but the end result is always beautiful.
I was there on Thursday from 10 to 2:45 and Looped the place twice, I was on a mission. I went in 2020 and it was basically the same they're still pushing Big tiles, and those Cutters you actually really don't need if those tiles are going on a floor base is going to cover unless it's a finish cut which there are talented people out there that can cut that without buying one of those cutters, believe it or not there are people who can cut that with a grinder and then hand polish it. If they're going in a shower there's only going to be two finished cuts and you can also do that with a grinder in the correct blade and water. And then hand Stone it . Or you can buy the cutter I'm just saying . hat being said they've been pushing those tiles for four years now at least and it's just not going to take off. Don't get me wrong I love the show it is awesome I'll go every single year but really there was nothing new, that one drain setup, that if you're in a condo on concrete and you have to move the drain that plastic PVC how it pivots and you can extend it and cut it that was pretty cool. But basically everything was the same nothing different, tile, even better tile. I thought that they would have a better selection of wet saws. Also Ardex needs to step up their grout chart game, like Mapei. As far as all that goes it was a great show! I love having great conversations with people about tile. And an event like this is exactly where you get to see everybody who's actually passionate about it, like myself. Can't wait to see what the future holds.great show!
