I went into the cop shop the other day saying privacy, constitution and the guy was yelling at me to get out, he then walked off on me.. police = 33 (they are operating illegally) as is the ATO. Set up a review on the revenue website, that way, it'll give you some time. Just make sure you submit your review by the due date, give it 24-48hrs, you know at least one banking day (1 business day) before it's due (I used to work in finance) I got fined too and also live in south WEST syd.. the system has this 'time is money' garbage attached to it so use your own human prowess against it, it's just a stupid beast matrix system. @@markhills3922 The letter means nothing. Once your fined, your fined. The letter doesn't make the fine official its just notifying you. Just like a birthday card doesn't make you a year older. Actually ignoring the letter is the worst thing you can do, would have a better chance fighting the charge

@@michaellast1385 The letter is everything. If you Do Not receive the letter, you have not been notified. It is sent to you on the presumption that you are an entity. It does not presume you are a Person. You can do as you please. I know what I'll be doing if I ever have to cross that bridge.

@@markhills3922 When I was younger and spent a lot of time in court there would be people in court who got picked up on bench warrants for unpaid fines. They would kick and scream about not receiving letters or fines, some with really good excuses, magistrate never cared, fines were still valid, if some had good arguments maybe the late fee would be dropped. Maybe, and this is a big maybe, if you can run away from a fine and not commit any other offence in 15 years you may get away with it, but in this case you would not even be able to have any contact with police, even if they want to talk to you wile you walk through the park. Australia sucks, we have to prove who we are even if we do nothing wrong

@@BlakeConnor really ? any fine that you fail to pay goes through what ever agency in vic here in qld it is sper they add a handling fee ($80) on top and suspend your licence until you enter into a payment scheme. Failing that they will take the money from your bank account on a weekly or fortnightly basis. My advice would be to pay it
