He is actually one of the most versatile cartoon character I have come across in my life. he is hilarious crass despicable witty shrewd but so so likeable...Red Hiney is undoubtedly the Marlon Brando of cartoon world.
That's the sign of a very talented voice actor on being able to play three different characters and not make it seem like they're all voiced by only one person.
@@josephbassey1501 he is the actual devil. In the pilot he even actually is from hell. For the actual show it was changed to Red Guy because censorship
He's the devil incarnate. You can see he has horns, and when you see him from behind, you can see how he has a pointed tail. In other words: how Satan would look as a cartoon character.
@@Aurochhunter Satan is actually a title for Lucifer, meaning the accused one. This red guy is just a caricature of what people think the devil maybe but in scripture, satan/Lucifer is a beautiful cherub even if he has fallen. This caricature is likely of unclean demons but I still get it that the caricature is the embodiment of satan’s evil crap.
Believe it or not the show has confirmed that there is more than one red guy. Turns out it's a whole family of them! I can already imagine how hilarious their family reunions would be!
@@giovannigonzales5152 Having silly accent is no superpower. Cow doesn't speak Spanish, but Supercow has many superpowers and speaking Spanish is one of them.
2:22 This still cracks me up till this day, Chicken well animated then when he turns is the most plainly drawn image still has me in tears. I loved this show, I remember my family loving Red Guy during Cartoon Cartoon Fridays.
I watched this show so much as a kid that this character seared it's essence into my brain. I can now do a decent red guy impression according to my very concerned family
7:20-8:26 I don't know why, but the Red Guy's deranged ranting explaining what happened during the first part of a cliffhanger episode has always been the funniest for me of all seasons...
It would be him getting into all kinds of trouble with his schemes and getting beaten up afterwards when he gets exposed or ends up goofing up kinda like how it plays out on ed edd n eddy
Shaman Xeed Idk if your mean it structurally or quality wise. Structurally they are distinct. One is a comedy with adult themes, the other show is more serious/mature with adult themes. Quality wise is subjective, but I will say that Infinity Train is overall better imo. Infinity Train has well thought out world building, a beautiful atmosphere, fully dimensional characters with emotional depth, and some pretty damn dark/brutal scenes, especially the death scenes. There’s one scene where one of the characters get disintegrated on screen in such a brutal fashion that would make anything from Invader Zim or Ren and Stimpy look TV-Y. I would highly recommend watching it if you haven’t already, Book 1 and 2 are great but Book 3 is the heat. Also not every modern cartoon is like TTG or Big Mouth, and there are some good/great cartoons introduced in 2018-2020 like Owl House, Primal, Craig of the Creek, Amphibia, Kipp and the Age of Wonderbeasts, and also the Ducktales reboot. Many of them have mature moments, emotionally rich characters, good or great animation, worldbuilding, and depth. Ofc the late 2010s had a fair share of shit stains, but so did the 90s. Rocket Power, Shnookums and Meat Funny are just a few examples of shit stains in the 90s. I would highly recommend watching Primal out of all of the ones I’ve mentioned. It tells a simple, but engaging and tense story without a single word. Only the atmosphere, the actions of the characters, and the sounds of nature tell the story
It's the random screaming of some of his lines that gets me. "Hellooooo, it's me, YOUR DRILL SERGEANT! or "remember to keep your scabs UNDER YOUR PILLOW!" 🤣
@@jytvreal Honestly, I never saw him that way, besides, he barely shows any traits like that and he comes off as more reasonable 90% of the time despite some bad luck compared to Daffy. The Red Guy is definitely taking his crazier traits and amplifying them up to 100% to the point of making him ceritfiably INSANE.
This guy taught me to roll sideways when i was a kid. Some shows start really weird trends and i cant imagine what parents went through witnessing them XD
I absolutely love the red guy! Easily my favorite character in the entire dang show and Charlie Adler knows how to make me laugh so hard! I swear the Creator just sketched up all of his voices to give them life!
People could demean this show for being crass sexist and all that crap but will eventually realise it was much ahead of its times . Infact I don't see any cartoon character having such a luminous screen presence as that of Red Hiney. whenever he turns up he lightens up the screen with his shrewd charisma. Thanks for making our childhood so happy Red Honey.
Don't worry, they'll find a way around to do so. Everything is possible when you start from an unmovable conclusion and start building your hypothesis from there. It's called circle reasoning. Like those evangelical pastors from the 80s-90 who played songs backwards trying to find something remotely similar to a "hidden satanic message". They "knew" it was there, they just had to pay attemtion and find it
Charlie Adler voicing the Red Guy, Cow, chicken. Fucking legend. Full of adult humor these were the best cartoons a child could watch back then. I always had the idea that these people who created these cartoons did not create them for children they created them to entertain themselves. Fantastic era.
Better than 99% of modern cartoons. FACT. Cartoon Network in that period was just awesome. This, I Am Weasel, Dexter's Lab, 2 Stupid Dogs, Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog....
@@ajmartinez5885 funny you say that, since i once tried to literally roll up on a group of friends how he does it on the ugliest weenie...thing is I'm really skinny...so I'm basically flat...hurt like hell (rattles your brain) I think it only works if you're a bit pudgy...that way you can actually roll instead of basically flipping over like a board of wood... What i mean is my mannerisms and how I talk... Like this... 7:43 it doesn't translate well to real life... people just think you either really weird...or being EXTREMELY sarcastic...😅
This show is funnier when you know that Cow and Chicken are based off the personalities of creator David Feiss's children at the time and the way that they spoke.
7:44 "Cow wrote a play... ABOUT WIENIES!!!" (I like how he's a little embarrassed when he said wienies.) Can you imagine a child writing a play about privates?
Fun fact, Charlie Adler always wanted to make the red guy do an orgasm, and there are two separate areas where his wish was fulfilled. Here, and another one that involved the red guy in a surgery but I forgot the episode 😂
7:02 “Oh, we’re flat out of time. Stay tuned, after the commercial break and maybe we’ll show you the rest of the play or maybe we’ll fill time up with EVEN MORE COMMERCIALS!”
I always knew he was the devil but I never noticed how sus he was until now. This show along with any 90s-early 2000s in mexican spanish slapped hard affff
Kids today have been deprived of awesome cartoons. The Red guy was my fav cartoon network character. I was always in fits of laughter and till this day I always introduce myself in "hello, its me" voice. 🤣😂🤣
