With older patients, I fear their advanced age will keep them from responding well to normal treatments and either they won't make it through the rescue or the process of healing that will come after the trauma and settling for recovery. Children, I NEVER want to see in any type situation like this! I am so tender hearted that I would probably be crying with a teaching background to all ages and mandatory CPR and life saving skills required by our state that came with that job. Because I grasped the info and how to do things so fast the owner of the school wanted to pay for herself, another woman in charge and myself to have advanced training. So, I received training that cost me nothing that I will be able to remember and use for the rest of my life! I am proud to say, that knowledge and the Lord have helped me save the lives of two people to date who were choking, a small infant and a grown man! Many people tell me I should have gone into the medical field in some capacity. They say, "You are so smart! You always know just what to do or what is wrong with someone. How do you know what is wrong with someone?" All I can tell them is because I research things I want to know and read all I can get my hands on! It doesn't hurt to have a degree in medical billing, you learn a LOT of medical knowledge to pass that course! But a medical type job requires a great deal of walking and standing on your feet and, God knows best because he knew I had a serious back injury coming down the road that would also cause nerve damage in my legs, also recently I have been diagnosed with two different auto-immune disorders which are causing a lot of strife right now. The Lord knew I would have to give up a job I had already fallen in love with and that it would be devastating. However, with the knowledge I do have, I NEVER shy away from someone in need of help. I have been known to jump out of a vehicle before it was stopped all the way to get to someone, put medical butterfly stitches on a child's forehead to have the doctor ask who did it and then say well I'm not going to take it off! She did it as good or better than I could have done! I am not afraid to get in there and get my hands dirty, so to speak but literally too! God bless ALL the first responders, they really are a special group of people!

I dont feel isolated here and never have.......Ive also raised a child here through to adulthood, neither she nor her friends have these problems the show claims......perspective is a wonderful thing.....its a shame that they try to paint such a bleak picture of such a wonderful place to both grow up and raise kids......we moved back here from Melbourne precisely because of the better lifestyle here, and the awesome beaches.

Cows can grow horns. Here in New Zealand we cortarise the horn bud when they young. We numb the area and burn the bud so they don't grow.

Voice x do you have any clue how big Australia is? And if he has say 500 hectares they then have to find him. I live in New Zealand in a rural area and had a heart attack, it took 45 minutes for the ambulance to arrive and then we weren’t sure if they would be able to get up the steep driveway. I’m not being mean, just stating facts.

Voice x...I live in a tiny rural town in SW Oklahoma and it takes about 45 minutes to get an ambulance here in case of emergency. No matter what country you live in, if you're in a rural area, it's going to take time for emergency personnel to get to you.

Horned by a cow?? Huh?? Gored by a cow (actually a bull would be more likely) would be the correct verbiage.

Cows, bulls and steer can have horns. It depends on the breed and if the breeder dehorned them.

the cow wasnt a bull, it was a female heffer

Ashly Elizabeth technically a cow is a heifer. Any bovine can have horns. It depends on the breed of bovine. A cow female heifer. A bull is one with balls, a steer is one without balls. People lump all bovine into the word cow.

Actually there are some breeds of cattle that both male and female have horns. Most of the time they do a procedure to remove the horns but some breeds keep the horns as it is part of the showing of the breed

Ryan Horbachewski it depends on the breed of cow and if they are dehorned. The jersey heifers and the Holstein milk cow we have all have horns along with the couple bulls and countless steers.

"I'm still alive!" She sounded like she legitimately wanted to die. I wish all teenagers around the world knew that _everyone_ hates life when they're teens. Fourteen was the worst for me. Tried to kill myself, too. But, guess what? I'm very thankful I failed--life gets better. Being a teenager sucks. But your twenties will be better, thirties even better. Stick it out. You'll see what I mean.

That's not how mental health works and this attitude needs to change. It said they have personality disorders, it's not just "hating life"
@Matthew_M11
@Matthew_M11 5 лет назад
I'm not sure where you got your sample from but I can assure you not everyone hates life in their teens. Understandably teenagers go through emotional changes but hating life is not at all normal and requires serious medical intervention. Do not use "everyone" as an excuse for not seeking mental health help.
@alison4316
@alison4316 5 лет назад
You're both right--if there is a legitimate problem, seek help. I do agree with that. But _most_ teenagers do have a rough go of it. I was put in an institution for a while as a 14 year old. But I'm saying what seems like rock bottom at 14 isn't the end of the world.

Teens tend to "make mountains of mole hills".... I'm only commenting from personal experience and personal observation.
@alison4316
@alison4316 5 лет назад
And, frankly, I think "personality disorders" are part and parcel of one's teen years. I was diagnosed with "borderline personality disorder" at 14..... Don't get me wrong--i have since been diagnosed with PTSD and major depressive disorder and a couple other disorders.... But I'm saying that which I thought was just _the end of the world_ when I was a teen isn't nearly as important now. Maturity helps fine-tune one's priorities.

Lainey Grace fosters beer back in the 70s and 80s was popular here in Australia is was used for marketing Australia and sold oversees as an international Australian beer most Aussies don’t like it correct . But it’s a beer that’s always been recognised as Australia’s own and why is asked in our Aussie quiz when you become a citizen of this country .
