In today’s episode you’ll see me and the hoof GP at farm that I did my very first behind the scenes of the Hoof GP RU-vid video and I give you guys the very definition of behind the scenes, as I video Graeme videoing him self for his channel. Dealing with one of the worst hoof horns that I have ever seen.

Literally never occurred to me that people might think you don’t like each other. Also, don’t worry about your accent- it’s a linguistic adventure! It’s good practice for us to retrain our ears to different accents and idioms. Plus your accent is lovely to listen to.

Your accents are sometimes hard to understand, but everyone has an accent. The sheep fellow has an accent that seems quite different. A lot of the times, it's a different rhythm to get used to. I remember the first time in Jamaica, it was difficult because they spoke a very proper British language combined with the natural rhythm of the island. Asking a gentleman to repeat 3 times his proper Brit words w/ the local accent, I felt they were thinking ' who is this dumb**s? Took awhile, but I returned there many times and became acclimated to it. Their local pigeon, forget it! Loved it there, would stay usually 3 wks. No tv, no phones, cellphones not invented yet, take off the watch, what day is it?? Dunno, don't care, all you needed anywhere to eat, drink was a speedo and Jamaican cash. The locally grown wacky terbacky was killer. Witnessed many times were a group sharing one, followed by 1/2 hour of silence, seemingly with their chins on the table. Those were the good ol' days. TTFN.

Craig, I think yourself and Graeme should do a video where you 100% “Scottish” it up. No code-switching. But subtitle all of the ribbing to what you really mean. And then, when you speak “proper”, subtitle it in Scots. It would be good cultural education for us Americans and others around the world who may not understand the many “versions” of English spoken by the people of Scotland.

Please don’t change a thing about yourselves or your relationship. You guys have a very special relationship in which you play, have fun, play jokes on each other but it is the unconditional love that’s there and allows that relationship. It’s very special and not just anyone can have that kind of relationship, its sincere, full of respect, supportive and when you both need to be serious that’s also there. I began watching Graeme after seeing one of Tom Pemberton’s videos. I loved it from the very beginning and I loved when you Craig were in it more often and your relationship and working cohesiveness all came together. Graeme, I wish I lived closer to Scotland because I would introduce you to my son in law. You both are so much a like it’s crazy, and he banters about with our family much like you do with Craig. Keep up the good work guys and don’t change a thing. I die laughing when Graeme baa’s when you try to talk. Best wishes to both of you.

Look at Graeme being a diva and being sad. 😆 Honestly, the friendship you two have is amazing. I enjoy the banter back and forth, it is why you two are the hoof trimmers I follow. The job is fascinating to a girl who grew up on a small (less than 10 cow) farm and helps me remember where I came from. Lot of good memories brought back by keeping up with you two. This one just made my day. I've been telling my daughter how cattle can sometimes be as stubborn as a mule when you try to get them to move through the chutes or a staging area. Both of us watching you from 6:58 to 7:13, I got to show her you had to go back around them to the other side of the barrier/gate just to get them to back out and face into the crush. Since we're looking to get a couple head of cattle sometime soon, we watch your channel so she gets to see the basics of handling the animals. She's only 5'3" and is always worried she'd be squeezed between the gates.

Craig - this was such a great video providing insights into both the work that you do, as well as the behind the scenes look at how Graeme produces his videos. Whether you were intending to or not, you captured shots of how Graeme sets up his Go-Pros, how he filmed the last cow leaving the crush, these are things that we don't get to see in the HoofGP videos, nor would we expect to, but in your videos, that is a niche that many of us a growing familiar with. Great videos, please keep them coming.

Hey Craig. I'm Scottish, born and bred and have been living in Australia since 1971. I took my first visit home in 2014 and spent a week visiting relatives in Stonehaven. They told us (Hubby, son and I) that for October the weather was exceptionally great. Hardly any rainfall and although cold, (no colder than our weather in Melbourne) there were beautiful sunny days. I know we were lucky, it's not normally like that, but we were blessed. Great video once again.

It's crazy that people thought that you don't like each other. You wouldn't be working for him and you definitely wouldn't have been able to date and marry his sister if you weren't friends. I personally like the way you banter and joke around around with each other because it you didn't get along it would be a horrible work situation and it wouldn't have lasted very long. You have to love what you do for a living otherwise it would be miserable. I am from a family of 8 children and we all are sarcastic and tease each other. We have always had to explain to outsiders that if we didn't tease or pick on each other we would wonder what was wrong because it is how we show our love for each other. We also hug and tell each other that we love them because there isn't a guarantee that we will see each other again. This became more important as we started leaving home to go off to whatever college or university to earn a degree or two and when we got married and moved to various different locations either in the same state or to a different state. We all tried to keep in touch through phone calls and letters before the internet, cellphones and other tech devices made it easier. My family is very different than my husband's family who never said I love you or hugged each other so that was a huge change for both my husband and myself with his family.

I am sorry that people can't see the friendship and love between you and Graeme. I encourage you both to stay strong, block out the negative and keep being your true selves. That's what brings me back to watching both of your RU-vid videos. People are always going to find a way to crap on you, but you can't let them dull your shine. Laughter keeps your heart light and with a world so full of darkness we need to laugh more than ever.

I love the two of you picking at each other and having fun. Don't change a thing between you! And please don't feel that you need to speak "proper" for our sakes. I would love to learn more of the scottish banter and slang words. This is your channel, do what you need to do and want to do. We tune in because we love what you do!

My name is Teresa. And I live in Alabama in the United States. We are in the southern part of the United States. I used to worked with a guy who was from Scotland. And I loved to hear him talk. With what he called his brogue. To me it was a soothing sound. So just keep talking some of us like it. Lol!

I find it’s more likely to find people who understand banter who are blue collar workers. I bet most other people who work on farms or in that industry probably get that a lot more than office jobs. It’s a great way to bond with your friends, when you can give each other sh*t all of the time and not get upset, you know your relationship is deeper than words. Banter is a great way of breaking the ice and opening up some humor in your normally boring interaction.

The way that Craig speaks about Graeme is amazing. He has so much admiration for him. I love the banter you both have. If people can’t understand that then it their problem.
