Its amazing how eager she was to get into the crush...she knew she was going to feel even better because you'd helped her before and she remembered that...she knew she was still in a bit of pain and was eager to get more help to releive it.
So cute how she eagerly trotted to the crush for the second visit--she knows how much you helped her. Always good to see these follow-up videos and that this cow is healing so well.
Nothing cute about the life of a dairy cow. Their calves are taken from them at birth. And like any mother that has its offspring removed it causes them incredible trauma. But the calf is not the priority the production of milk is and the calf is. Dairy cows are raped and pillaged of milk every milking season while year in year out experiencing the trauma of becoming mothers but never being a mother. It's the sorriest life you could ever wish on an animal. I say this as someone that grew up and worked on farms. And at the point their milk production drops off they lose and value and become worthless chattel to a farmer. And off to the knackers yard they go rather than live out their life in lush pastures after years of productive service to their slave master. The life of a dairy cow is about as abysmal a life an animal can get.
@@Lyricistnz Thank you for explaining the life of a dairy cow , I certainly was not aware of this ,, this is really sad. I grew up on a horse ranch and certainly was not aware what all these sweet cows go through , and it’s sad. I will certainly appreciate my next glass of milk.
It makes me so happy to see her run almost after her trim. Your an awesome person Gram. I really never ever thought watching somebody trim cows feet would make me set on the edge of my seat, and now I even think I know what's wrong and how to fix it. Love your channel and your team. Thank you so much for sharing. You shouldn't smell everything just because you can. 😂😂
It was so hard to watch her walk at the beginning of this video, it made me emotional. Then to see her come in this week and later when she left the crush walking then scampering in the hay, I was so relieved! Well done Hoof GP!!
Thanks for the update, Graem! It definitely looks so much better! I believe it’s because of the hoof trimmer that trimmed and treated her hoof! Love and blessings guys!❤
@@suzanneirving7257 Ooh, migraines are the worst! I finally, mostly outgrew mine in my 50"s. I feel for you. Imitrix was the only think that helped. I hope you are feeling better too!
I recently got a green tee shirt with the cows face in the Hoof GP tartan on the face. I’m from both Scottish and Irish heritage and very proud of both
I just get so emotional watching these poor animals limping in pain like that 😢😢 but then you and your team come and save them from their suffering ❤❤ RU-vid aside, thank you so much for what you do for these amazing animals!! Also, I'm personally a huge Milk addict (yes that is a real thing), So saving these animals from pain means a lot to me!!! Thank you so much! 😊
I love the updates with clips of past visits. Seeing the whole transformation of these precious animals 🐄 makes my heart happy. Another thing that makes me happy is getting my Hoof GP shirt! Patiently waiting in South Carolina USA 🇺🇸
Why do I love these videos so much? I'm not interested in cows or dairy farming at all, but these I have to watch as soon as they are released. It's specific to his videos, I have watched 5 or 6 other trimmers videos and only actively watch these and one other's. Guess it comes down to the quality of vids, the great explanation of what he's doing and why, and mostly the personality him and the crew. You can also tell that he genuinely cares about every animal he puts in his crush, and it shows. Hope they see this.
Hello from Texas love the fact that you are bringing them back to see the results. One of my senior ladies cries every time they come in limping. I tried to get her not to come and watch if it upset her she said no that she needed to watch so that she could help that man to do the right surgery. I thought that would make you smile. We had 14 watching today. Raining here in East Texas today.
I love watching you heal all those beautiful family members😊 I miss working with milk cows. I think I had our whole herd named by the time I was 14 lol Now knocking on the 60 door, I still miss the scent of cow power, yes power as it's what always made our garden each year hearty enough to feed us as well as others a whole hard winter into spring. Life just isnt the same without cows😢 Much love to you and yours. ❤❤
It's amazing to think of how your channel has changed over the past five years. I've had old memories of my childhood spent on family farms here in Canada, brought back. My uncles had a dairy farm with Jersey cows and watching you trim their feet reminds me of them.
You have an immense of followers because you care about us all. Well done Graham. Graeme, Greyham, I dont give a shit! I just love the fact you have compassion.
Watching Graeme trim is the best neck exercise I have found. I'm constantly trying to look at a different angle like the view on the screen is going to change. LOL, best limbering up exercise ever! Thanks Graeme, maybe you should start up a side hustle! Blessings from Montana!
You’re a blessing to have as a foot doctor Heeling these cows, one by one and making them more comfortable then they were…. God has to be so proud of you offering such comfort to these animals created as a benefit to us….God Bless you son, to you and your family♥️😍🙏
I’m so glad RU-vid randomly recommended your videos. Love seeing how much you really do care about the animals and your family. I even started listening to your playlist on Spotify, great music. I have one quick question, how contagious is digital dermatitis to people? You guys deal with it a lot and I was curious what your risk of getting is. Keep up the amazing work Graeme Kevie boy and Craigie boy. You guys are awesome.
Just wanted to say, started watching your channel out if curiosity. Absolutely enjoy watching it and to see how much you help and care for your cows/bulls. What a rewarding job. Keep up the fantastic work you all do. Cheers
That is so awesome to see how much she’s improved! It’s like a completely different animal. Bless you guys for getting these beautiful animals out of pain!
It's great to see the follow-up on this lady! Having spent a long career in Opticianry using my hands, I now have arthritis & the pain it involves. Due to your profession, I really hope y'all don't end up in the same boat.
Please say you’re going to make some more of those amazing t-shirts! I would love to have one. I’m absolutely thrilled with the way this cow’s feet are turning out. It’s just wonderful the healing that has happened. Great job Graeme!
Thanks for the update on Cow 341 - she looks so much better! I don't know how I stumbled on your channel a few months ago, but I'm glad I did, just wish I'd known about it from the beginning! We've had horses, goats and chickens, but not cows, although my daughter always wanted Highland Cattle! A good hoof trimmer/farrier is integral to the health of livestock. My daughter almost went to Vet School in Scotland, but ended up staying in the USA. Now she practices in Hawaii, she never liked cold weather! I'm looking forward to receiving my T-Shirt, now I wish I'd ordered 2, I was going to give it to my daughter, but I might have to keep it for myself!
One of your best videos yet Graham! I love the follow up over a period of time. It really helps to understand how the hooves develop after you've trimmed them. This cow's reaction was wonderful!
I love these follow up videos! Sometimes you show us hooves in such dire situations, with massive infections or hoof loss, and I know I would love to know the final outcome. Please keep us posted!
Thank you for the update! Seeing her limping last time had me wincing and gasping in sympathy with each step. She seemed very enthusiastic about entering the crush this time! Fingers crossed that next time you see her, she'll be well on the road to full recovery.
I am not a farmer and just live my life. But occasionally see your post on RU-vid and i am so glad you have the skills to remove pain in these animals. They are just living their lives also but pain does tend to fuck your daily life up so thanks for what you do.
Awesome awesome job. One of my favorite parts of your videos is your vast knowledge of the hoof, the anatomy and how it gets affected by injuries, disease, etc. Your knowledge allows you to better treat the cows. 👍👍
Such a sweet cow she seemed eager to get her hoof looked at , she just knew that her hero was going to make sure her hoof was healing . Cows know who cares for their hooves, she’s a smart girl!!
What a spectacular difference for that poor cow. I am going to hold out in hope of another pass on the One Herd T shirt. That shurt needs to be available worldwide for at least a year.
Hey Hoof GP from Indiana, US! I am no farmer & have never even lived on a farm, much less seen anyone do what u do! But I find ur show both educational & funny, amusing. That's u guys making a wonderful sho2! Thank u so v3ry m7ch!
Loved this one a lot! It’s great to see these cattle being treated and treated well. GP is such a smashing fella…. Been viewing his journey for years now. Watch other cattle trimmers but none can surpass the Hoof GP. The sound track is spot on as is the opening theme tune. Congratulations Mr Parker and thanks for introducing me to your world!
Never in your videos have I seen a cow that wouldn’t put her foot on the ground at all. That was extremely concerning. I’m glad she’s in such great hands ❤
Most channels I subscribe to I fast forward thru the opening music/intro cuz I’ve heard it a thousand times and want to get to the good stuff, but I just can’t skip listening to the intro music you use. Love it. Also, very glad to see this cow doing so much better. Keep up the good work!
I've been wondering lately, if the cows actually put together and recognize that after seeing the hoof trimmer they feel better and then remember that the next time, especially if they've been hurting somehow like this lovely lady. After seeing this her practically jump into the Crush, I'm positive that they do! I think that we get so emotional about watching Graeme care so deeply about helping these animals is because we look for and want to find other good people doing good things on the world and it's so comforting to see that.
Beautiful shirt, guys!!! Thanks for all you do and share with us. God bless you. ❤️ Edited to add: I’m in NJ USA. I used to live in rural NEPA USA, lots and lots of cows.
I love watching these videos as it brings me back to growing up in a farming community. Thank you for that and the obvious love and care you have for these gentle creatures. I would love to know the song you use in your intro. The part included in your videos is lovely and I’d love to hear the rest.
I love that you take care of each Cow as if it were your very own. You don't make it look like a job.....thank you to you and your family, dogs, and crew.
You could see at the end she wasn't letting any human get close to her again any time soon.😅 When you show a close up of her or any cows face, I just want to hug their heads.❤. You're the best!
