@@trueshields5689 naaa every episode had some action and the only thing you were getting “suckered “ into was one of the best Pieces of art of all time so.....
@@mookiestewart3776 Oh for sure, I was being facetious. Mostly I was thinking of 14 year old me being like "whoa, cool fight scenes" and then falling in love with the aesthetic afterward.
man I remember around 2002-3 when I was 8 siting in my Grandmas basement watching Naruto/One Piece on Toonami and it never fazed me that such a brilliant show like this was around until later in my life. These previews are awesome though, wish I saw em back then.
+Alan Allos The promos in the video above are from 2002/2003. Naruto/One Piece was airing 2005/2006. I think Adult Swim was still airing Cowboy Bebop late at night in 2005 and 2006 though.
@@Theonetruewonderfly I was able to catch Bebop late at night when I was about 6 (I suffered from insomnia at the time, so I was never able to sleep straight through). It was one of the first animes I ever seen.
Naruto and One Piece were not on Toonami in 2002/2003! They aired later on, like in 2005 or 2006! Heck Naruto didn't even exist outside of Japan before 2005!
It was an amazing time to be around 11-13 years old friend . I saw bebop air for the first time ever when I was 11 and it blew my mind. Anime wasn’t huge yet , adult swim wasn’t big yet , all we knew was dbz Pokémon and gundam/other long running shows . My first time seeing ballad of fallen angels in a dark room with no one else awake it was like I discovered a part of myself I never knew existed. I was too young to truly understand the medium I was watching but I knew that this was “it”. All these kids today that take Japanese/anime culture for granted need to understand how this show brought the art form to the west and bow down .
This was the only anime that I became emotionally attached with. Seriously, the ending had me in tears because of how awesome it was. One of the most underrated cartoon shows ever made. I hope the movie is as awesome! The was the best thing I'd seen in the last 20 years. Watch it!
12 years old when this first dropped …….literally almost none of you will understand the connection my generation has to this show and adult swim as a whole……
We had bebop , inuyasha , trigun, flcl, ghost in the shell sac, fma, samurai champloo back to back to back back to back to back to back to back …. What did you have??? Whatever next will they won’t they rom com??? Stay mad you weren’t apart of the golden era scrub lol
@@mookiestewart3776 Slow down there old timer. FMA, FLCL and Trigun are all time classics. Bebop is my personal favorite. Just having a little fun. No need to get triggered. Lol
I like how they show all these fast paced action scenes and although the action is a great aspect of the show it's not even the best thing about it. It's all about the writing and the great visuals and music that accompanies it.
I think the second promo is the best of all of these. With only two tiny bits of dialogue, a ton of SFXs, and with "Stella by Moor" superbly edited into it, it draws you in without giving away anything about the plot, making you want to watch it. It promises action, drama, melancholy and death.
I'm here to pretend that the bullshit live action version doesn't exist, and GOD DAMN!! THESE OG ADULT PROMOS ARE FUCKING FIRE!!!! Whoever made these needs a raise.
I always used to see snippets of CB while watching TV late at night (I watched AS but for non-anime shows) and I always said I was gonna actually sit down and watch it in order but I never did. This was like 2004-2005. So now 18 years later I’m finally gonna watch it from S1.
I've seen this show all the way through three times, almost four... It just never gets old!! It's the best show I've ever watched! and I'm really not an anime fan. Does this even count as anime? Oh man this is the greatest show :')
still to this day....just thinking about this show gives me chills....this really is the best anime show of all time...and i've been watching anime since i was 14....and that was a very long time ago....
I love cowboy bebop I remember watching the promotion for the series as a kid I had to check it out and around 2001 - 2002 I did and I wasn’t disappointed I’ve been a fan of the series ever since I have the complete series on blu ray and dvd and the movie on blu ray cowboy bebop forever!!
My favorite anime of all time and the one anime that always appears when ever I think of an anime list. Hottest anime women list: Faye Anime villains list: Vicious Anime Openings: Tank! Moments in Anime: Spike falling out of the church Best Anime Character: Spike
I watched this show about two years ago. Loved it. However I still remember these promos ! Part of me wishes I watched it all those years ago. Yet part of my knows maybe I wouldn't have truly understood it as a younger self.
This is why I love Cartoon Network, not only because my all-time favourite cartoon show, Codename KND, but also because Cartoon Network is home for anime classic like Cowboy Bebop when shown to non-Japanese audiences!
I LOVE BEBOP! Watch it on Adult Swims revived Toonami! :) And Naruto has the most complicated confusing story line ever (it just doesn't show up until WAY later in the series). Soul Eater, I've never watched it, but i'm watching it now on Toonami each week.
I asked my cousin a question since his favorite anime is Trigun and his fiances is Cowboy Bebop. "Could Spike Spiegel catch Vash the Stampede.", his reply was "Probably not, but he'd never stop trying."
Attention Cowboy Bebop fans! For God's sake, watch "Mish Mash Blues" if you haven't already. It was a special episode played in Japan when the series was just down due to the increasing violence in Japan. It was so amazing.
