As the Bari guy that was on this, this was actually the second take. The first take was more together, however this was an encore. I’m glad to see all the supportive comments and I’m glad so many people liked it! We had one rehearsal before the show and then played the entire cowboy bebop soundtrack during this concert. Btw I’m Mexican not Asian 😂

It's not an exact replica of TANK! and that's perfect. It's very in tune with the show. Gotta go with the flow. Love it.

All I see here is: Old and young. Black and white. Experienced and fresh. Vibing out with one of the most iconic cultural Jazz pieces of the last 30 years, and having a blast doing it. That's good music.

Japanese composer tries to write a bebop song for an anime. Actually ends up writing one of the best bebop songs ever.

A lot of those guys are probably too old to know Cowboy Bebop, but they are music guys, and this is a great Blues piece, and you can tell they dig it just for the quality of the song alone.

I just love how you can tell that they are all having a lot of fun with this song and it really shows in the performance. Helps so much to not be bored of the music your playing.

Jazz isn't normally my thing but I LOVE this song, hearing a live version is amazing

I remember playing Tank with my whole Jazz Band and holy the audience liked it. The solos here are amazing. I haven’t seen the anime but i’ll be watching it soon.

I DO wonder how these people got to know this opening theme. I've been introduced this anime by my friend almost 20 years ago. I'd watched all of program of this anime. This composition is very impressive. Because it represents the atmosphere of these stories. And now, at March of 2020, I just surprise that foreign people play the theme ! I DO thank all of your sense, feelings and power of the music. (With thank to Yoko Kanno.)

Since the anime is remaking on Netflix, I wish RU-vid will recommend this precious video to newcomers.

Epic -- only one season and like so many other amazing one-season shows I've literally lost count how many times I've sat through it. This tune really takes me back.
