this one always takes me back to a certain place and time, end of the 80s, end of my single life etc. going into a marriage and factory job, then after many decades, the sorrow of loss and betrayal, often wish I was that young man sitting in all night coffee shops listening to my music, doing my solo James Dean thing instead of the me that I am today, tho I find watching this that Margo still moves me lol gotta dig her
For some reason I could at one point sing this song full throated in the same key as she sings it and I performed it live numerous times. And I wouldn't change the gender of the words either. It's just too beautiful as it is to change a single note. Of course I never sounded like this angel singing here.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm! Not only is the performance excellent, but the song speaks in powerful imagery. I wonder how many of us have lived between those lines at least once and probably more. I guess I'll have to see if I can find some more of their music. Margo and Michael, thank you. And I thank you, too, Blythe, as always.
