Many thanks for the video. I'm looking seriously at this machine for both leather and handbag sewing. Do you think it is feasible to make a flatbed table that can slide over the cylinder arm? Also, what is the lightest thread this machine can use?

CB3200 is very good leather sewing machine for stitching hand bag with thick thread. The lightest thread is V138. There is a flat table attachment as option, see the detailed special sewing parts at www.cowboysew.com/heavy-leather-stitching-machine.htm

The biggest sewing thread is Max. metric thread size 7, know as V415, T-400, 1300dx3

Really like what you said about having 3 layers of thread when you back stitch at the beginning. Wondering if there is any reason a person can't start with 3 reverse stitches, then go forward and end up with only 2 layers of stitch?

Dana, we are not clear with your question. Why the material changed from 3 layers to 2 layers during the sewing?

@@HightexHeavysewingtechnology I think what I should have said is 3 passes! When starting a stitch line if you lay down 3 stitches back up, then restart you have 3 passes, If you start in reverse and back stitch 3 stitches, then go forward you only have the 2 passes like you normally do at the end!.
