Fish you need to stop saying they didn't quit, they always do that they don't play the first three quarters then when a team goes on prevent defense they put up numbers that's doesn't win super bowls playoff games or nothing stop making excuses for them it's getting old
It’s a good thing this franchise is a big brand because they’ve been a middle of the road team for decades now , they don’t deserve the recognition they have they are what they are and it’s time we accept that.
Two. Stephen needs to go just as much if not worse. In fact, this is what the team will look like every season once Jerry is gone. And that isn’t me standing up for Jerry. I was hating on Jerry before hating on Jerry was cool 🤣
@@StevanScuba Nobody said that. But they need to start from the top. 29 years and not so much as a conference championship appearance. Any other GM would’ve been fired long before now. This team will rebuild. But it cannot be built into a contender under Jerry or Stephen Jones.
The problem is not just Jerry Jones. It's the whole family. The problem is the FOOL who let Dan Quinn cannibalize the team while they were sleeping. The problem is the talent scouts and recruiters are miserable failures. The cowboys are on path to finish 8/9 or less and it's what the management has created and deserves.
One glaring problem and I don’t know why no one is talking about is. The two safeties we have on the field is putting so much stress on the defense, they’re too slow can’t cover or help in run defense.
It seems in most games over the last few years they either dominate the other team, get blown out . Or give us just enough to keep watching and fall just short. That was a winnable game, to keep the 49ers out of the end zone in the first half and the fourth quarter.
Jerry needs to fire himself. He is why the Cowboys are in the situation. People in that building will not say anything to Jerry because of fear they would be fired. The only one that can say anything is Steven. The problem is he is just like Jerry. This team, MY Team, is screwed.
No other GM in the NFL would of gave Dak that kind of money. There is no way Dak can ever live up to that contract. The weight of that contract will make him even worse. He will become an expensive scapegoat. 💩
I think Jerry over paying Dak will be looked back on as one of Jerrys biggest blunders. He should of let him walk. Dak would not be hard to replace. He had a look on his face that said "what am i even doing here?" 💩
How many 60 Mil a year quarterbacks walking around that suck in the playoffs, deer in the headlight look in big games, and have never made it to the Championship game? The answer is, 1
@@donniej54 You are one of the most dishonest people I've ever seen on here dude. There is literally only one $60 million player in history. You also can't remember a game that happened less than 24 hours ago, as on another post you claimed Dak gave SF 14 points.
Fish and Spagnola ALWAYS excuse Jerry. Don't tune in expecting answers. Granted, the players are responsible for on the field. But they SEE the hijinks in the front office and it de-moralizes them.
Dak has enough money to go off and live his life happily every after. Cause he will not be the one to take the Cowboys to the promise land. He had his chance. Physically he can't do it anymore.
This isnt a a blow it up year, it is a intentional tank , which helps when they fire MM at end of season. Jerry didnt want to fire a guy who was going 12-5 each year, so better to go 1 year lame duck, more with less, which leaves a team that cant win, which improves the draft pick level. This is a tank and jerry wants it, he manufactured it.
The Cowboys are at the height of their dysfunction since the Campo era. I don't see how it can turn around in one year with all the players leaving. Even if these players are going because they're the reason for BIU, it's hard to replace half your starting lineup on both sides of the ball in one year, and have the cohesiveness necessary to play at the highest levels in the NFL. That's assuming Dak doesn't decline quickly like Zeke did. Largest contracts at their positions in history for both, and both delivering diminishing returns out of the gate. Dak hasn't even started his new contract, and he's already on pace for 17 picks again.
This season will prove it??? Bro the rest of Daks career with us will prove it. As I have continuously promised. Dak will never get to a Superbowl in his lifetime as a starter. He is not built like that. Just another Romo stat guy. Yall will see.
Fish, you are completely right. That's the problem with the dallas cowboys, offense Dak of course is not a quarterback that threatens you with the run, and once you take that away from the the offense, the other teams or other teams that has running quarterback become a. Better offense.
Yep, Jimmy Johnson assembled the last Superbowl caliber roster. Once he had enough of Jerry's B.S. The rest speaks for itself. Jerry and Stephen have to go !!!
Jerry is the problem. Will McClay is the next biggest problem. This team is full of bad draft picks. But, the Dallas media will praise McClay over and over. How many playoff games have the Cowboys won under his drafting? When a bad pick like Mazi and Spoonwhatever is made they act like it was Jerry or blame the defensive co ordinator. But oh no McClay is the greatest.
Will McClay is not the problem. Dude has been undermined a lot. He wanted TJ watt. He got undermined by Jason garrett to take taco Charlton. Facts. most of our draft picks the past few seasons were dan quinns input on the defensive side. McClay should be GM
Should have never been signed to that contract. He's declining. As usual Jerry made a huge mistake. If he's the QB better go get a oline a defense and a running back. Dak is a liability.
The problems: Dallas underestimated the impact of the depth players they let walk/go to other teams. Dallas underestimated letting Tyron smith go (even tho he’s not doing good in NY) Dallas jumped the gun of the Dak deal when they could’ve just waited to the end of the season to make a deal or not. Dallas overestimated Mike Zimmer and his reputation to get things in order for this defense. Jerry jones willfully ignored the actual needs of the team just to stick it to McCarthy and Dak with the logic -“I’ve given you all everything and you still couldn’t win, now you do it with nothing or you’re gone” McCarthy thinks he can keep up with today’s football schemes. McCarthy does not know how to utilize his players to their advantage and skill set, nor does he know how to beat tougher opponents like the shanahan tree. Mike Zimmer was brought in to specifically beat guys from the shanahan tree like he did in Minnesota, and he’s proved he’s not good enough to do that here in Dallas.. their offensive line is and has been overrated since Travis Frederick left. They finally just stopped hiding it- they are all bad and not good enough. Tyler smith is the best one they have on the oline and he’s not enough. These are just some of the things.
We have no choice Jerry knows the problems we need a run first type team and we all know the cowboys can pass but we need a real run first pass after the run and play action this new McCarthy setup ain’t it
I really wish Fish would talk more about Capboy and his involvement with this whole mess. Jerry brings the circus and the puppet coaches. Stephen brings the “draft and develop. We like our guys.”
Dak has peaked and is now descending. Simply because he can't run. He is not a true pocket quarter back. He needs to be able to run and he can't run anymore. He is descending. A quarter back must be a runner these days, especially when you don't have a running game.
Dak needs that big contract to pay for his media. I can’t believe the amount of Dak defenders and apologists that are out there spinning his performance. He’s playing terrible no matter how you feel about him but the BS is really starting to get deep
Yes I have back Dak for a long time and made many excuses for him but the time has come to say he never was worth a 60 million year contract and any blind man can just look at him he is not
My goodness and if you criticize him at all they come out of the woodwork to slam your football knowledge hell I know what I see. He’s being outplayed by Baker Mayfield, Geno Smith, Kirk Cousins, Brock Purdy, a 40 year old Rogers! Yeah some of those have loosing records but they can move the ball and put points on the board. Dallas D held 49ers to 6 points in the first half and the Dak squad was slamming them for that loss
@@wadesoders255 stop lying. You never supported him or believed in him if you can look at this roster and this offensive scheme, and blame him for everything.
At 60 million Dak should be fully evolved into a whatever kind of Qb we need him to be. The offensive coaching staff is not getting the job done. Bad designs, the Qb making bad decisions and when the run game is respectable we abandon it and get pass happy.
right? isn't it amazing that 8 years in, our superstar 60 gagillion dollar quarterback is telling us he has to play better and can't be turning the ball over.
I know the Brand is important, If the jones would get the hell out of the way the Brand could be bigger. Give the GM duties to Will McClay to assemble a coaching staff and get this thing going starting at the trade deadline then free agency and then the Draft… We would then have a legit chance to make a run in 2025 and 2026?in spite of Dak..
Fish it's fair fir people to think the Cowboys lied about Rico and Left him home because the Cowboys HAVE already done that this season. That being said i believe he was sick but the Cowboys already set the precedent for us to be skeptical.
The Cowboys problem is that Jerry is mad. He's basically telling this team is "I've paid you well! Where is my trophy? If he would fire everyone, they'd have a job tomorrow!
Guess what folks, the $60 million dollar man can not carry a team. Welcome to the next 4 years. Should have let Dak play out his contract this season and see what he is worth on open market. Dak sucks when it's on his shoulders. This season will prove it.
@@bloozedaddy What about the other seasons when he had an all pro RB, 3 pro bowl Olinemen, a pro bowl TE, and a pro bowl WR? Couldn't do squat with that either
Fish your drinking the koolaid!! There was no Dak to cd connection. They got that during garbage time San Fran was in prevent defense because the game was out of hand ! That’s was pure garbage time throws! And this clown Prescott is the destroyer of the Cowboys. They will never win with this clown and his stupid contract has and will set the Cowboys back for years. Now that is the facts. Period!!!
Of course Jones wrote off this season. He did that after watching his totally unprepared, unready supposedly championship team, get curb stomped by Green Bay. He allowed a lot of key players at key positions to take their talents elsewhere, without replacing any of them other than the draft. He didn't extend McCarthy or any of the other coaches, left them all on one year deals. Saving and hoarding all of this years cap space for next year. Pretty obvious to me The GM checked out on this season, before it started.
This will show if the coaches can actually, coach and these players actually bare down and play smash mouth football!!!?? football is about attitudes, not all just the xs and os !!
Id have faith in blow it up, if the worst albatross on the team wasnt given a cap crippling superstar contact when he's an average qb who pads stats in garbage time or games that mean little. You CAN'T build a SB team with Dak at qb... period.
Everyone wants to blame Dak , but he’s out there by himself with no running game ! I can imagine he sees the same thing we do and sometimes it goes the other way
@Fish you really need to stop about Delvin Cook. He was only given the ball 5 times. If they are going to activate him, they should have given him the majority of the carrys. He has been sitting for 2 months. He needs to get his game legs under him. Dak does need to run the ball and show that he could be a threat. He has his money so he needs to play. Patrick Mahomes runs whenever he has to. This team just does not have the will or the heart to win.
