Dak Prescott is no bum but this is not surprising whatsoever. Dak Prescott is showing why he was drafted in the 4th round. Take Jared Goff who was #1 in the same draft. Jared Goff has a skillset that is conducive to developing skill position players which is why he was drafted #1. It happened with the Rams when Sean McVay was hired and it happened when the Lions stockpiled talent. You saw Jared Goff develop with the teams he was and is on. Do not get it twisted people will say look at Dak Prescott's career numbers. They all want you to ignore a huge chunk of those stats come in garbage time.

Jerry should have followed his original idea of not doing the contract until he sees how Dak does without all the talent he has been use to having. When dam got injured few years back and Cooper rush came in and won 4 games for Dallas it made me question how valuable was dak ? And I started to stop looking at his stats but his play.and could we win with out him and rush did..that shows me 1 dam is not worth 60mil when rush got it done for a fraction of that and 2. The defence was bailing dak out and keeping them from falling behind cause when they got behind dak I think gets into his head too much and it doesn't work well for him. As far as Derrick Henry he wouldn't be making that huge of difference with Dallas o line and play calling. He would not be putting up numbers like he is with baltimore. My biggest problem with Dallas this year is they have no Grit. They lack leadership , unity and hunger and mental and physical toughness. Even his peers agree Dak is an elite top 5 QB in the NFL and given decent OL, Coaching, Receivers, RB and GM, would probably be as good as the other 4 best QBs in Mahomes, Burrow, Goff and Jackson.
