I'm really in awe of y'all still using tie stalls and the management that goes with it. I grew up with a parlor, and that was plenty of work in itself. Great video, and every herd has a "Karen". But a Karen we had was a grandmother of a bull that went to Select! 👍👍
Those fans do move a LOT of air. Getting cows back on pasture in the spring was always my favorite time of year. Guess I’d better get to fencing my pasture back in, lol

They walk down the trail to the pasture and we close the gate. In the pasture they have grass, hay, and water. The next morning we put food down for them in the barn and shake some bedding around in their stalls and then open the gate and they all walk into their stalls.
No doubt been asked this question before. Do you try to keep an even number of cows in milk all the year round or do you have peaks and troughs. Cheers
