Finally time to let the cows out on the pastures! We are still feeding some hay as they transition. We are all happier when they are out on grass! We also give a herd update on our eleven cows.
Your cows are so beautiful and healthy! Jerseys are truly the prettiest cows, with their big doe eyes and cute markings. And I swear they knew it was time for the herd update, as some of them stepped up to the camera when it was their turn. Loved seeing them romp out to the grass. They sure knew what they were in for!
We would like to get them out too but its extreme wet overhere in the netherlands so we have to wait , most likely we will cut everything and make grassilage because its becomming far to long for grazing the cows, greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Another wonderful video!! Is Moonbeam born to one of your cows? You didn't really say. Do you still have your beautiful horses?? I love horses!! Can't wait for your next video!!
Ahaa the first pasture romp of the Spring. Decisions, decisions. Do we run and frolic or eat and chew cud?YES DO BOTH! Multi-tasking herd . Thanks for the family portraits. 😃
Looking good. As always thanks for any videos you can put out. Its hard to find good genuine, and genuinely interesting small farmers on here. Love seeing y'alls farm journey and how far you've come. Keep up the good work
I recall the day your first cows arrived on the channel. And now, WOW, what.a herd. Will you be milking them two at a time this year? Greetings from Arizona. So glad to see your thumb nail pop on my screen tonight. I miss the old intro that had the map and all.
Rumspringa! I had much the same feeling last week when we had three clear day without rain and I could mow the lawn for the first time this year. That is now quite some substantial herd! How long does milking take you now? [and is there any chance of a video?]
When I was milking back in the day I had a Jersey I left the horns on so see could protect herself. I ended up having to cut them off because she got mean to the other cows.
