C & C (or CnC) is a science fantasy TTRPG set in an uncolonized world. The PC's are protectors of a Utopia-Punk city, Cahokia. It is equal parts Shadowrun or Cyberpunk and Star Trek or Wakanda. The PC's are tasked with defending the city from outside threats and internal strife.
It has been referred to as First Nation Wakanda, and this isn't a bad thing. There is a hope and light that can seem out of place in this tech-magic cyber-culture. The setting is a much describing a new world as it is erasing elements of the old; a reset that takes up a huge chunk of the book.
This is a d12 dice pool system, with an in-world reason behind it; the people use a base 12 numbering system! There are plenty of other details that one can miss on first pass. It deserves a deep dive.
I've included this in the BIPOC review for this month for obvious reasons, as this is a very popular step in bringing this culture into our TTRPG communal imaginative arena.
