@@MeadowsMiniFarm No, they are not a "nuisance" animal. The only people who say that are the one's that are too stupid to keep their farm animals fenced in.
you can really see the confusion between domestication and wildness in Weave when you're talking to her in the front of the den.it's pretty fascinating
@EdwardBarneyWolf-xr8ey complains that this is "animal abuse" then proceeds to feed his cat 1/4 cup of yellow brand cat food while sharing a quarter pounder with his morbidly obese beagle. some people opinions aren't worth much.
If she's not about to have pups, it's possible that the toys ARE her "pups" and she's protecting them because the instinct to breed is so strong. She might have chosen "substitute pups" if that's the case. Guess time will tell.
@dagansgamingbox6604 Good point. Dogs go through the same. I had a dog that did that for a season. She thought she was pregnant, her attitude changed.
She probably thinks of howie as one of her pups, since she's known him his entire life. They do roam together, so he's 110% part of her 'pack'. Same with Duck as far as the pack goes, but he's a home body lol.
Well... Some animals. I'll be honest and say that looking at a group of baby birds staring out of a birdhouse doesn't say "intimidating" as much as it says "cute floofy orbs"
@@white_tiger9298 A domestic dog will very rarely if ever be that friendly with its owner and then flip to be defensive over its puppies/den. It can happen, but usually its a dog that has trust issues with its owner
That animal is not the least bit tamed. That animal simply tolerates this annoying guy for gain. She has no respect for his space but expects him to respect hers, and is obviously agitated by his closeness to her home. But since he feeds her, he is tolerable, but I would not bet that he is "safe".
@louiswhite1445 he only shares that. She actually does love him, and she is basically tamed. But I understand what your saying but she ain't doing it for "personal gain"
@@white_tiger9298 What is "basically tamed"? There is tamed and not tamed. No nearly tamed or almost tamed. If she loves him, explain her half interest in him. I don't have to hold food out, beg my dog to come to me, and wait for him to decide to. Animals who love you will show a high level of obedience. My dog is a great dog. He very rarely does anything you have to get onto him about. And that's just how he is. I didn't train him. I actually kept him from going to the pound due to his owner dying. He was over a year old when I met him. And after a few days I could not walk ten feet without him right there and it's been that way ever since. That's love. But believe what you will.
I have never seen someone be able to walk the fine line of domestication & wild. She is wild, but she has accepted you & other members of your family into hers. Very difficult task, 99.9% of animal experts would fail. K9s feed off emotion, & your just being yourself gains her respect. Her bringing you birds & other food proves she is still wild yet has accepted you with respect.
I try to make sure that I am right before contradicting what someone says. We can learn so much just by reading with our phones, or watching lectures, or documentaries but it seems like so few of us do.
Wow! Are you sure she isn't expecting pups? Yowza! Yep! I noticed once it warmed up, the cicadas got louder. Ugh! Hate bugs! Getting out the zapper! 🤪🤣
Does this mean she's pregnant? I don't recall her being so defensive about it when I first started watching your videos and you would all go to the den. She could also be getting older and "wilding up" a bit. Of course Howie gets to go inside LOL!
She's certainly pregnant and nesting her den and far more aggressive. She will be for the foreseeable future. It's a shame because this will set her back quite a bit
It might just be because she's old enough now for it. She didn't get along with the other coyotes in the area. So, pregnant would be a bit of a surprise.
Weave is a cranky little girl lol. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if she has any little surprises for us. I hear the cicadas in the background and they are really loud. I haven't heard them yet over here in TN but I know it won't be long before they're everywhere. Wishing you and all the fur babies a good evening 🙏 ❤
Oh they've been in my part of Tennessee for a few weeks now. They started their calls about a week after the first ones emerged. It's been deafening because the 13 yr and 17 yr broods emerged too this year 😭
haha Weave's like "Dad, stay out of my room!" just like a teenager! 🤣I hope this behavior has something to do with her getting ready to make some babies!😁
Tim, if i didn't know better, I think she's nesting. She was late in her heat cycle. If she is nesting it could be just 1 pup. She sure is grumpy about it. So glad we are still getting daily updates. Thank you for that. How much longer before your military son comes home? I remember you said it would be sometime in May?
Also, if the pit bull is the father then it definitely could be one pup, since it's an unusual genetic load for her body to handle, as well as him being larger than her.
Unless the pups are yours...she is probably instinctively protecting her den from other predators and non-father coyotes. If she is denning for pups her hormones are probably raging and she is going to be naturally more aggressive/territorial/protective. Very interesting that she lets Howie come in though...if I understood that right.
She's thought of herself as Howie's mother, since he was a little kitten. There's are older videos, if you go back. She's protective of little kitten Howie. 😄
@@madscientistlife I really didn't say you didn't exist, I know you do... I just said I needed such a man in my life. By the way, I am a man myself and I don't live in California... I live in Eastern Europe... All the best!
@@Vitali_Osandor I was pointing out the fact that the guy I replied to was claiming to be soft and gentle but then immediately contradicts what he said by saying "unless you still wear a mask/live in California" the irony was funny, and I had joked about it being a new record of how fast the contradiction came to light, sorry I didn't explain it well the first time. You seem lovely! I was talking about the other guy.
I love that you respect the fact she's wild, respect her boundaries and still remain yourself throughout. I can see that she loves and respects you too.
I just love that you allow her to be the animal her DNA commands, but still can connect with her on a "human" level. I pray you never domesticate that beautiful coyote. Living with wildlife in harmony doesn't always mean conquering them.
Do you know if she is pregnant Tim? She’s certainly acting very protective of it! Maybe she doesn’t want you to know about it because that’s where she has all the boys over at night 😂😂😂❤❤
Weave has a deep sizable den, I suppose she wants no chance in giving it up as growl as she is! She sure seems maternal ? Suppose to be a hotter summer than last year so she made a deeper home. Tim how’s the ostrich pen coming along ?
I think she built her den to have babies in, and it's close to things she loves, such as: Timmy MC, hotdogs, her duck and her aspirational Pro-Wrestler kitty. There's a non-zero chance that Tim might be a coyhound granddaddy before the year is out!
Ive never seen weve growl like that besides from her playful growl she does shes pretty much trying to tell ya to back up away from my space she let ya around her other den but shes very protective about her new den
She knows Dad is safe, but she is a wild animal and its GOOD that she doesnt lose that instinct to defend her den against ANYTHING. If she didnt, and had pups, she would lose that protection mode and the pups would be in danger. I like seeing her act this way because it makes me feel she will be ok.
I love you, you are such a kick. The fact you have this coyote and other critters shows what sort of man you are. I’m jealous, I only had possums, a crow an owl, but no big cats or wild canines.
It’s pretty remarkable that she intentionally made her den right on your property. She clearly feels safe there and knows that you are no threat to her (quite frankly you’re an asset). Must be nice to have the trust of a wild animal ❤
I just want to say thank you for being such an amazing human and man! The Cody Roberts disgusting abuse of the wolf yearling in Wyoming has me disgusted with Wyoming and their complete lack of protection for wolves. I know you dont live there, but it's been hard for me not to lump all midwesterners up as heartless, animal torturers now. Thank you for restoring my faith in some people, haha. I've been following you for a long time and your page brings me so much happiness. I love you guys❤
