Well I can tell you one thing, this youtuber is always wrong about stuff, 30mph is not the top speed for red foxes, and their start off speed is faster than coyotes and they turn much quicker. One on one, the fox will run, and probably escape the coyote, so the fox wins by speed.

This guy doesn't really know that much though, I have been studying foxes and coyotes wolves my whole life, foxes have tricks up their sleeve that makes it very difficult for the coyote to even catch them.

Just be careful! Coyotes are notorious for sending one of its members out. Luring a larger dog to chase it. while the rest of the pack waits to ambush it. They kill domestic animals all the time! California has a big problem with this.

True, but eastern coyotes differ greatly from the western coyotes. Eastern coyotes mated with wolves many years ago and therefore eastern coyotes are much bigger and more muscular hybrids. It's tough to classify a "true" coyote.

@@silveryote1 still, an eastern coyote is in no way similar to the variations of the grey wolf. Not enough to literally mistake them for a wolf. That is unless you have no idea how to differentiate. It’s pretty easy to compare them and see. Also those wolf images come up when you search “Eurasian wolf” and when reversed image searched you find most were taken by photographers and labeled as Eurasian wolves, so I’m still correct. This just goes to show just how hard this is when you’re uneducated on the matter apparently. Eastern coyotes still are shaped somewhat like a coyote. They have a more slender snout taller more broad ears and a shorter tail, atleast when compared to a grey wolf, even if they are larger and have more wolflike features than a western coyote.
