Hahaha I love how many things you always cast on - it’s great because watching you helps me be very sensible and only work on 1-2 projects at a time (it’s like I live vicariously through you 😂). But the thing is you knit so much and so fast I think it’s fine, the amount of WIPs seems in proportion with your output. 👍🏻 I agree with everyone else, your Wisteria and Azalea colourways are just so dreamy!! I have been knitting on an Aran jumper for my brother while watching you - it’s all cables but I’ve memorised the pattern by now so it’s very satisfying!!
Stephen West is well over 6ft. Someone said that if you’re not that big, consider binding off early😂 I love the fade you’ve planned and I think you deserve this cast on since your swatched and all! Love the fabric acquisitions too!
Love catching up with you as always Mel! I've been working on two patterns by Aimee Sher - a modified Coloring Book Raglan (marling sock yarn for a DK weight) and testing her Go Gently Cardigan. Love the colors you've chosen for the baby quilt. "Satellite WIPs" is a great description! Some times the yarns+patterns just go together so well, you can't help but cast on!! Take care, Stephanie
Hi there 👋. Greetings from 🇨🇦! This is my first time visiting your channel and I loved this episode. Your wardrobe of sweaters is very impressive. 😁 I really enjoyed the clips of your food and travels. I used to live in South Korea in 2003-04 and I took a day trip to Osaka for a visa journey at one point and for some reason, the shot of the kind of “intersection” of the street and tall buildings looked very familiar to me. I feel like I have a photograph of this spot and for some reason I think that there was like a River or waterway or bridge or something near by. Anywho, now that I made myself sound completely crazy, I’ll stop! 😆 I’m looking for to checking out your shop update. 💜
"Satellite WIPs" is a great description, I'm going to borrow this term! 😂 And your latest colorways look gorgeous, I particularly like Wisteria. Good luck frogging and reworking the test knit - let us know how it goes!
First time watching your vlog and I loved it! I’m obsessed with the colors you choose for the frequency sweater and now want to try quilting seeing your first one.
The spoiler made me laugh out loud! I love it. Also, a wisteria/eucalyptus sock set would also be a dream. I cannot wait for your update. I am determined to get my hands on some of your stunning yarn! I hope you don't push yourself too hard and take care of you and baby too! Happy Friday!
So many wonderful knits, I love the texture of the cardigan test you are working on. I have also signed up for the union fibre club and very much looking forward to it. Whilst watching I’m working on a test knit of the kids seasons sweater for Hailey @ ozetta
Hi Mel, so glad meanwhile at the castle recommended you, having fun spinning and watching. I was just cleaning up my sewing area, and I am curious, are you cutting your quilt pieces with scissors or a rotary cutter,as I too have not delved into that craft but want too, thanks Melissa.
I was going to, but I double checked and it looks like she fixed it for my size (size 3)! I’d try to make sure that it’s correct for your size before continuing on though so you don’t have to rip out like I did! 😬
@@MelanieAsato Ah okay! I already came too far and didn’t realise it wouldn’t line up. Hahaha I feel so stupid. But I askes her for help 😬 I love knitting the lace pattern at least so hopefully I’ll manage to finish it before due date 🤦🏼♀️
