I so enjoyed sitting with you quietly and hearing about what you’ve been up to Mel. I keep thinking I see Mei yarn behind you, what a beautiful wall of yarn! Doing just your top few books is great and made me really interested in following them up. And your t shirt looks so lovely on you!
I read the first 7 books of Witch Hat Atelier and really enjoy it. Art style is a big consideration in any visual storytelling medium, and I really like the art style in Witch Hat Atelier. And I also really like the magic system. Its so unique to any other I've read.
I love the colour of your Air Tee! It looks so good on you! I'm inspired to make one now :-) and thanks for the tip about going down a needle size to stop sweaters going out at the waist! Will definitely try it!
I love Witch Hat Atelier!❤ can’t wait to get the next books. The art is gorgeous. Thanks for an awesome calm and comfy podcast, it made my morning extra special. ❤
So thrilled you are back! Have missed your video podcasts - instagram is not the same kind of 'conversation.' Lovely to see you again, and to hear what you've been up to!❤
Love your podcast, and your Air Tee! So excited to receive my Ghibli preorder!!! I’m trying to get back into reading so any book recommendations are always appreciated! ❤
Yay welcome back Mel 😊! Just receive my preordered Studio Ghibli yarn today☺️. I can’t wait for the spooky summer release end of July. I really like the air tee it looks great on you
"Frogging just means that I get to use it for something else that I really like"... I also subscribe to this! After knitting the Halibut Hat, Halibut Cowl and almost the Halibut Sweater by Caitlin Hunter I discovered the sweater fit wasn't for me. Love the design but not on me so hopping onto another project. Love your podcast.
Was just rewatching your old podcasts and hoping you’d pop in again soon! I’m so excited to be able to join the ghibli yarn club this quarter🥰 I’ve started the Air Tee and love the construction! I also think I’ll make a second one for the Summer/Autumn
I love your podcast and yarn!! And FYI - I just finished a book called A Lullaby for Witches...fabulous name, right? It was TERRIBLE!! haha....don't go near it. You're fabulous! Thanks!!
if you need some more STEM like romance novels I highly suggest Ali Hazelwood! she's got some good books out there and she's an Italian neuroscience :)
