I don't understand why you don't have more subscribers! I enjoy everything about your videos, the gorgeous filming and scenery, sweet dear Frank, all of your wonderful adventures, your cooking, your delightfully independent, creative and kind personality, and the way you lead me towards positive introspection. ❤️ I appreciate you, Amanda.
Yes I agree! Her photography and videography are spectacular! And other happiness and love for Frank are contagious. The other RU-vidrs push the commercialism for subs and I am glad she is more concerned about taking it slow and enjoying life and never after attaining a goal. I agree about the other channels but I just clicked dislike and not interested so hopefully the algorithms will figure it out. At least for my feed ❤
I find myself thinking of you often and pray you’re safe. I love this lifestyle. But now after 3 years I have changed. I hate crowds, city noises and unpredictable behaviors in people. Give me nature and solitude is what I crave. Amanda you are an amazing human being. I totally look up to you girl!!!❤
Hello Amanda, this is Gaye Fern from your Patreon. Imagine my suprise today when I went to collect my mail and I had an international post envelope! What a lovely surprise receiving a beautiful photo and sticker of our precious Frank! Thank you, that made my day :)
I am sorry but when you said “hello from the ground” I laughed so hard I cried 😂 We are so happy you are ok but that was great ❤ So many beautiful scenes in this episode!!
The time, love and passion you put into your creations shows Amanda. Imagine a world filled with humans who embrace each season of life and honors transitions. 🐾💜☮️
I really appreciate how much you don't try to be anything but you. Love the beautiful scenery, how freaking cute Frank is, and that you didn't hurt yourself seriously when you slipped during your walk. And yes, the BC health care system is in shambles. Hope you get the care you deserve and need. Stay safe and warm.
I'm glad you are enjoying winter for us all. I lived in the Colorado mountains for many years in my 20's and 30's and now I'm a Florida girl. I don't do snow and cold weather anymore. I love your style of cooking. I always cook something thinking ahead of what meal I can make with the leftovers. 😊 Happy travels to you and Frank.
One of your best videos out of tons of hours of beautiful videography. I swear I can feel your soul in your work. My favorite part of this one of course, the Aurora shots. My granddaughters name is Aurora Azul, so obviously, the entire family is a little obsessed with the Aurora borealis. Thank you so much for the beauty and peace you give me with your videos. You'll never know...😊❤
Hey Amanda, what a nice surprise I wasn’t expecting a video today the mountains, the scenery, so incredible and Frank is such a happy boy even in the cold i’m glad you have all that extra food on board The northern lights look so beautiful thanks for sharing and taking us to such amazing places. You guys be SAFE out there and stay warm.🇺🇸♥️👍🙏😎🐾🏔️🚐🇨🇦
The SOUND of the icy lake water against the shore was awesome! I really love how you take the care and time to show us so many facets of nature. The 2-3 second shots of ice-capped rocks, pine needles with snow, etc. are so beautiful. Your attention to the tiny details as well as the big picture sights and sounds of nature are inspiring. Thanks for sharing your world. Hugs to you and Frank!
Thank you Amanda for another Amazing Adventure ❤ Let's all Help Amanda an Frank get to 30K 🌿👍👍🌿 This Amazing Adventures Lady deserves it... Smash the Like Button an Share.... 30K for Amanda an Frank 😊
Thank you for taking us to the most beautiful places. Be somewhere safe during all the snow. Hugs and kisses for Frannk. That food looked amazing and warming. Be excellent to each other. 🎉❤
Beautiful winter and glorious adventures in exploring the snow covered world. Thank you Amanda for sharing your stories and your adventures in the tree country. 😊
Wow I was thinking the same thing when you got all that food out from under your bed! It definitely calms the anxiety. If I lived in a van I definitely would stock up like you do. I feel its a smart thing to do. A lot of the other nomads have minimal food on hand and I dont know how they do it. There are so many scenerios where things can go wrong and you might run out of food. Im in my reclliner watching this feeling cozy too as I watch you snuggled up.
Oh, I forgot to say, that I am enjoying the LMNT drink you recommended and I have at least one per day. It really helps when I need to chop wood and scout out the Colorado Northwest.🎉
Hi there my name is dee I live in the us, Portland Oregon in a small town called st. johns, I love where I live and when I have a chance I tune in to you, Your photograhy is the best, and sorry for the spelling. Extra hugs to frank. DEE
watching ur thumbs ups go crazy while im still watching made me think, how many others like me, sort by newest first before reading the comments? hmm so shout out to us! WOO HOO Amanda and Frank! Way to go! Love y'all! 🥰
A came for the snowy, wintery scenery that I crave, but rarely see where I live. Its almost like I'm there! I appreciate the effort you put into getting such breathtaking viewing of nature. Seeing the foods/ingredients you have stashed away is cool. Glad you're still well stocked after all this time. Sending hugs to Frank!
I just watched this and it brought me so much peace and happiness! Frank is adorable and I got to get out of my own mundane, kinda wonderful but still mundane life in the suburbs of New Jersey. I dream of when the kids are older and responsibilities are less...hitting the road with my dog! Safe travels!
Beautiful update! The sun calendar says winter doesn't arrive at my elevation for another month+, yet it's clear winter has arrived where you are. You've shared some amazing sights with us - ice, iced lake, Aurora, trees, etc. I've never been privileged to have a dog in my life, it's very special to me that you let us see Frank as he is, with the care you take for his health, well-being, and happiness as an elder gent. Thanks!
I tried Element because saw it on your channel. I LOVE IT!! I am not a person who is out hiking or working up a sweat at all. I am a 62 year old woman who used to get terrible leg and foot cramps. Since I started drinking a packet of element everyday, they are gone!!! Not only do they taste good but they are good for your body in more ways than one. I recommend if anyone is on the fence, try it!! 👍😊
I recently had the privilege of going on a group hike with Adam Shoalts in Halliburton, Ontario. He offers guided hikes through the forests and identifies plants and trees.
We also received a signed copy of his latest book. I am currently reading Canada in 10 Maps, looking forward to reading of his trip from Lake Erie to Labrador. Best to you on your winter travels. Enjoy your videos. I was in Atlin van camping 10 years ago. Now I am now enjoying through you. Thanks for sharing ❤️👍
It's nice to see that you and Frankie enjoy the snow! Me too; I definetly appreciate the 4 seasons. Was a bit worried when you fell and hope you are 100%.❤
May I say .. I love your channel! You have a wonderful way of seeing the beauty all around you. I love your genuineness and honesty. May you continue making these wonderful videos for a long time to come.
there is so much to love in this video. Ice swishing at the edge of the lake, crescent moon rising, pristine snow covering everything, you and Frank being cozy and warm, and food stash surprises! How wonderful. The tea, Evening in Missoula, has strong associations for me of a truly beloved friend, now passed. It is wonderful tasting, with camomile and spearmint and ?? Very nice for a cozy evening drink. I'm glad you'll be getting into a specialist for some follow-up to your brain injury. I was looking at Frank's feet and wondering if he could be outfitted with some flexible but supportive splints for when he goes outside. Maybe lace up so they'd be easy to put on. He sure gets happy when he's outdoors, even in the freezing cold. thanks for this beautiful video of your last days in the north.
OH My goodness--- your vid reminded me I need to buy another new scraper brush !!! ❄ I've had a few snowy frozen mornings and the ice was frozen like cement on my windows. I'm looking up at the silhouettes of all the trees and lighting a little fire. I should be filming but I'm just so peaceful 🙂 Much Peace and Love to you, From this old lady and her two doggies , Toto and Apollo 🐶 🐾 🐾 🐶 🐾 🐾
Oh, I meant to mention that you might look into those new heated, hooded jackets that some other van lifers are enjoying. I think they're called "iHood", maybe one for you and a smaller one (or your size as a backup) for Frank. Chrome and LoLe both have codes on their blogs that bring the jackets to under $90 each, I believe. I'm not a snow bunny even though I was born in a blizzard! so won't be getting one for myself. Romeo is a wuttle indoor dawgy, so he doesn't need one either.😅
I just want to say thank you for the great videos you share with us. I’ve noticed lately many you tubers are shortening their videos too much. Hard to get into a short post. So thank you for your hearty shares
Amanda & Frank. :) Thanks again for your video. I love the snow falling & the icicles everywhere. It is just so magical to see the snow on the trees etc. Keep warm & safe . ❤🇦🇺🇳🇿
@11:38 -- 13:19 . . . I am not crying...you are!! Amanda...thank you for including immense and heart felt aurora borealis longer clip set to your hang drum music. So much beauty and other wordly sights that you are living alongside with. I truly am mesmerized by your astounding gifts you share with all of us through truly remarkable cinematography and editing. Pllllllease continue to travel SO safe....I just cannot--NOT worry about you.
SO cozy, warm and pretty in your van ! I can't wait to have a larger van 🙂 Yet another beautiful video from you ❄ ❄ ❄ Cheers from the Northern Wisconsin Forestry 🙂🌲🌲🌲✌️
Frank, Watson here. Snowed here last night. Mom took me out, and I kinda lost my shit. Body sliding, snorting snowflakes, ripping through the bushes. Mom called me her maniac. I''m a maniac, maniac for sure. I spend my nights like you with a wool sweater on, wrapped burrito style. Like your Mom, she always thinks about what's best for you. Aren't Mom's great❤Peace out.
What a wonderful treat! Thanks you for sharing the beautiful winter scenery of the Yukon. The aurora was incredible. I loved the snowy hike. I'm really glad you are so authentic and show what you really do and cook. It's amazing that you can cook such delicious meals with your provisions and in the van. It gives me ideas of what you can purchase too. I know you went to Costco and I think Walmart but some of those ingredients looked quite exotic. Happy travels and hugs to Frank. I loved the photo of you with snow on your hat- very attractive too.
The scenery is absolutely beautiful especially the snow ❄️ during the daytime & the night sky 🌌 with van 🚐 life there’s always a differently awesome view every day which you don’t get to experience living in a sticks & bricks house
Stay authentic! No need to apologize. Found you from Adv Van Man’s tour of your van. I’m a huge fan of the winter too, hope you get to stay in the snow.
First time I’ve seen you on RU-vid and don’t know much other than I have mad respect for you to be driving that van in those conditions. I don’t care how good your tires are rear wheel drive in that type of snow is exceptionally challenging. Hope you got some chains in that neck of the woods.
You should live on Vancouver Island during the coldest winter months. Or! You can come stay with me in Toronto and cuddle! And yes, Frank can cuddle with us too! 😁 👍
i'm a recent subscriber Amanda. you and Foresty are the two who's episodes I look forward to the most. Stay safe and stay real, cheers! PS the aurora sequence was spectacular!
Amanda, you and AdventureVanMan are my two favorite vloggers. Always guaranteed to come away with my spirits lifted after watching both of you guys! Stay warm!
I LOVE YOUR HEADLINER..MINE IS 1/2"FINISHED PLYWOOD..FROM HOME DEPOT..THIS BORD IS MADE IN EQUADOR..IT IS MADE FROM SEVERAL SPECIES OF TREES..AND HAS NYLON FIBERS IN IT AS WELL..VERY STRONG..PLYABLE AND YOU DONT HAVE TO PRE DRILL..
It’s because I live your story telling and approach to each video! You show such beautiful landscapes etc! You are amazing at this, I could watch and learn from you for hours so thank you!
I’ve spent many winters in the Rocky Mountains. Alpine skiing and Nordic skiing and some snow shoeing. Now I’d rather winter over in Yuma and Baja California .😎
I've actually been struggling with an unexpected shift in my diet and cooking habits 8 months into van life. So I really appreciate how thoughtful and honest you are about food.
