Tip: when locking-down the scene on your camera, where you’re adding/building things in a shelf for example, also lock the focus and exposure, then your edits will all match for that scene. On iPhone, this means tapping/holding on the screen to lock focus and exposure. You’ll see a yellow bar that says AE/AF LOCK. Where you tap in that scene will also focus there (that’s your focus selection). To release the lock, tap again on the screen. To lock an appropriate exposure (brightness), just tap on a mid-point (not too bright and not too dark). You can do the same thing with photos on iPhone, so it’s a good way to practice ❤
I’m completely inspired to start my fall decorating! Thank you for all your wonderful tips. Your home is so beautiful. Simple and elegant is my favorite 💕
Have you ever considered moving your TV to the wall where those two center bookcases are (hanging it over a console table), and then putting a huge mirror or artwork on top of the fireplace mantle? Might give you more space to decorate up there :)
I always love the way you decorate your home for every season. I love the neutral and warm colors you chose for this fall, especially the throw from Kirkland. Thanks, Kathleen ❤
Hi, I am a designer from Serbia, we so not have the pumpkin fall culture, feels a bit overwhelming. That and the Halloween thing, different. Keep up the good work!
Kathleen, your eye for elegance is amazing! Thank you for the inspiration. My video of my kitchen fall decor should be out tomorrow. Hope you can watch.
Beautiful fall decor!! Everything looks perfect as always!! You’ve chosen the perfect accents. I can’t wait to get started on my decorating. I love your outfit. 💖
