I looked forward to Magical Delicacy for sooooo long! But when I finally played, even on easy platforming, I kept getting STUCK! And it just sapped the fun for me. I LOVE the cooking and the concept and the art is amazing - but I just can't get past the traversing via platforming. If the game was not a platformer, it would have been so amazing for me.
I can totally understand that. I was bad at the platforming too. I think there was a setting to make it a bit easier but even then I wasn’t good at it. I think I really just like being able to cook up meals and experiment with different ingredients.
OOF, I have always struggled with motion-sickness in video games, so I really appreciate you specifically pointing that out! Great video, there are several games that I'll be looking into now! ❤
It’s always the first person games that get me. It’s not even like 10 minutes in a game and I’m like I can’t play this. I hate it but it’s definitely helped me find the genres I enjoy most. 🥰
I tried out Mail Time thinking it would be so relaxing and it threw me into the worst motion sickness! The camera is just too harsh! I felt ridiculous getting sick from the coziest game 😂
Interesting games! Ale & Tale Tavern looks interesting. There was a beer tavern game I used to enjoy, but it was super buggy, so I couldn't play much of it. I forget the name, but I've been looking for a replacement and this one looks even better.
So I see what you're saying about a lot of these games except for Reka. There are many hidden aspects that contribute to the story that are often unexplored if you don't go and look at the map in its entirety. I went back through a second time because I missed the mirror on the first map even though I got it on the 2nd and I found a graveyard at the north of the first map and there are more spells to cast and things discover. But that's the thing about this game is it really is more targeted for people who like atmospheric games and exploration and that's the priority so I kind of disagree with you what you're saying about it being focused on the house.
I’m sure that later on when they develop more of the game I’m gonna love it more. I just didn’t feel a need to explore more. That could easily been a me issue. I enjoyed the bit of the game that I did play, but at the end of the story you get put into sandbox mode which felt like decorating to me. So I just stopped playing. I might try it again to explore more to see what you mean.
Aw I’m sorry to hear that. I have another video that has some more beginner friendly games on it. Check it out ☺️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mQJalT4x508.html
I’m a beginner and I found Fields of Mistria pretty beginner friendly! I like the quests that help you decide what to do in each in game day. I also haven’t played Stardew yet
I definitely feel like Fields of Mistria has more guidance than Stardew did. So I do feel it’s a good place to start 🥰 it’s much easier when you learn one farming game and then go onto another, you can use your previous knowledge and it makes it easier.
cozy game is a really weird genre. i mean. its not objective like other genres. what someone find "cozy" is pretty different. the first game with the tavern for example didnt looked very cozy to me. more like work! with kinda shitty graphics. dark souls is my cozy game. lol! thats how descriptive this genre is. ps: i found that quite a lot of games just milking the steam tag "cozy" to market the next bad farming sim made by one person as a student project. its not a bad rippoff with no content.. its cozy!
@@LochVaness I love it!! I guess I progressed so far that I'm done with the quests, stories, making so much money and unlocked everything they have to offer for now. Currently just grinding and upgrading stuffs. There's gonna be an Autumn update and in the future they are gonna add more characters, quests, mini games and areas. For now, grinding is the only option. Although I'm dating a character but don't know how far I can go with romance. (But waiting for new romancable characters in the future updates). As an early access game, it's quite buggy but they are updating patches almost everyday. It's an immersive game!! You can give it a shot just don't start the game from Winter.😃
@@anushahossain2965 How long did it take for you to unlock everything? It looks really good but wondering how many hours of gameplay is available for early access
