Nice vid. Really good to get an Aussie perspective. So much US content on RU-vid which is fine but doesn’t help like your vids do to give us Aussies a good idea on what’s possible here in Aus. I was disappointed you didn’t show us how stealth the van is at night when all the lights are on inside. I was hanging out so see that and it never came. Still great of you to take the time to share.👍

Great point, and it did cross my mind after filming and editing the video. Let me add it to our 'list' of things to include in a follow-up video tour once we make a few upgrades to the van. We are currently travelling through Europe, but will be back to our Sprinter HoW in a couple of weeks and have plans to re-jig a few things in the van once we are back and have some cash flow again. Thanks for checking it out and glad that it was some use for you! :D

Nice design in the sprinter. Love the wall to ceiling cupboard space near the bed. Looks like a fun times camper. Good job on the LED lights.

You just got a new subscriber :) For one I love the name of your channel lol and very nice van too! I like your cargo area it's something I will surely be needing. Half of it in my van will used as a nook for my 70 pound dog lol so he'll have his own space and bed. Thanks for sharing!

It's on the cards! We are going to another long day tour with the entire van inside, roof/solar and front bumper setup. Just need the time to film and edit.. too busy surfing, skating and riding! :D

I know right? It's so much nicer on the eyes. Our last apartment came with horrible cool while florescent bults, the first thing we did was swap them all out for 2800K warm white LED cob bulbs.. such a difference and we knew it was definitely the way to go with the van home too since then.

Great tour of your van at night! 2 Questions: 1) Is that small square aluminum tubing frame you built with one support tubing in the middle strong enough to hold the weight of two people sleeping on it ? 2) Tell me how you built the bed and how it's supported and what materials did you used. This looks light weight and saves space and I will build one for my van if the framing is strong as wood.

Well, we've been sleeping on it every night for almost 5 months now and it's still 100% strong and secure. The frame is 25.4 x 25.4 x 1.2 alu square tube and there's 35mm x 70mm pine slats along the bed supporting the mattress. The weight is evenly distributed, even when sitting upright on it. The frame is bolted to the walls on either side using six M8 stainless bolts and rivnuts each side for extra support.

Looks very nice , perhaps a dim switch for the one above the bed and bathroom will be a good option?

We've never use the feature, so why spend time and money on it I reckon. Keep it simple! We will be adding a multi power bar light with onboard switch to the rear door in the future that can double as a reading light or as a stealth outdoor light when having a BBQ outside (open the door).

I really didn’t feel this was a tour, I don’t see cabinets or what is the door for next to the toilet? Where do you keep your food? Do you have a refrigerator? Nice lights I guess.

Sodium Percarbonate diluted in some warm water does the trick for 4-5 day intervals depending on the weather. Does the job and very inexpensive.

Yes we can, both ways. So the black block out blinds are essential.

12mm pine with a coat of primer, 3 coats of low-gloss, low-VOC interior grade paint. The furniture and cupboard doors have an extra coat of water-based clearcoat to make them more durable and easier to wipe clean.

Hey whats the distance from your bed base to the floor? looks like the perfect fit for bikes

It's about 855mm, however that's tailored specifically for our bikes (I have a large touring bike). So result will vary. Ensure you account for the height of the base and rails too, and allow clearance for when you have accessories attached.
